october 2009: update - i'm now in a relationship so kinda off the market.

i'm dark, deep & introspective with an offbeat biting sense of (sarcastic) humor. if you're looking for typical, it's two doors down & just past the garden gnome, sorry. if you're looking for uniquely intelligent, sexually mischievous & cognitively intriguing, keep reading.

i'm exceptionally rational but with a dangerous romantic core; concurrently the most complex yet most simple person you'll ever meet; detailed; sensual; unconventional; fair & decent person; rational; analytical; sexually open and intense; mensan; aspie; intj, logical; and, entertaining. i'm also very picky.

i'm in very good shape and play volleyball regularly. you'll find me more of a homebody; not really a partier. off-beat movies are the ones i prefer. i ponder the nature of the universe and what preceded the big bang, objective right and wrong, and let's not forget the origins of religion and the mass psychosis that it really is (hey, let's call a spade a spade).

i'm a very good & giving partner. i try, even if i don't always succeed.

my collection of (rock) music is both diverse & extensive (ipod included). my new apartment takes up a lot of my time; i've modified it to reflect my personality.

given my feelings toward animals my turn to quasivegetarian in may 2009, was long overdue. i'm actually a pescatarian. (i figured it was working so well as a dating parameter . . ..)

npr is pretty cool & so are craig ferguson's monologues. i observe & analyze people & have been since i was a kid. i've got a really good memory for numbers & dates; i can calendar count.

i don't look (or act :)) my age.

i love animals & they love me. i've rescued cats from the street. i've fed packs of stray dogs while on vacation. i also donate a lot to animal charities.

i used to be a type a personality . . . but i quit because the meetings were too slow.

i'm also difficult to match for something permanent. oh, and i'm not so much into the seemingly rampant wanderlust that is pervasive amongst our peers.

oh, my profile is in need of one correction. ask and ye shall receive.

oh, again -- the reason i don't drink is because i don't like the taste of alcohol and never did.

well, i used to train midget congo elephants in the ancient art of mime. while the aspca sought to shut me down, complaining that not only was the white face make up degrading to pachyderms in general, but it led to elephant class stratification at the mud holes. in the end it was osha that succeeded after beloved 'tusky' suffocated to death after being trapped for hours in a shrinking mime box. seventeen firefighters failed to open the box despite valiant attempts to free the poor quadriped, who, toward the end, was sequentially adding more and more black teardrops under his eyes. the fire chief later resigned in disgrace amid revelations that the poor animal could have been saved if only their trucks had been equipped instead with *mime* jaws of life.

the 80s marked a long stint as a maker of long stints. fearing the impending growth of the short stint market and tiring of the grueling hours, i took to working less of them, but as it turned out, i was actually working more minutes, in the aggregate. when the aggregate proved too much to take as a whole, i began to realize that i would be greater if i spent the sum of my time on the parts. eventually, i successfully merged some of the sum of the parts (but only partially) with my flourishing string of hare salons. an empire was born! through the ensuing years i've trained my heir, a well groomed young man with, well, an 'air' about him.

the years have seen its share of scandals, including allegations of my ugnfosukuk (eskimo is the only language with a word for sex with road kill) and the near collapse of the whole industry after it was found that the actual rabbit grooming was being done by a group of illiterate, impoverished mexican hairlesses who were able to cross the rio grande by nightfall (i.e., doggie paddle). being only 13 inches tall they were able to avoid u.s. customs agents who were intently focused on stopping illegal mexicans, who, of course, are much shorter than that.

bored after having conquered this realm, i then concorde the sky, taking to building planes by hand. with no aviation experience, whatsoever past the third grade level, i toiled day and night in my warehouse and in a short time had produced 27 magnificent specimens. unfortunately, i became disillusioned with the field following a shortage of balsa wood and long lines at staples trying to restock rubberbands.

in 1996, i purchased my second well-known city, this one in texas and known as dallas. for days i pondered renaming the city as i had my first purchased city: fragezeichen (meaning question mark in german). fearing further lawsuits, my attorneys convinced me otherwise, citing the hundreds of traffic fatalities after the failed publicity campaign in that last city when the city 'symbol' was added at the end of the text of every highway exit sign.

i run a medical-legal consulting firm, advising attorneys about the medical aspects of their cases. in my free time i play volleyball, hang with friends, collect music, rebuild and redesign my apartment and serve as personal maid to my cats.

memorizing numbers, calendar counting, being a loyal and reliable friend and companion, designing novel things, developing systems, picking out good music, and eating sushi at a competitive level.

is that i'm bright and that i'm operating beyond their level. oh, and that i'm cute (so i've been told).

i ponder the nature of the universe & the existence of time before time existed (i.e., before the big bang), objective right & wrong, the origins of religion and the reliance of the populous upon it . . . and other stuff.

honestly, recovering from the work week but usually have enough energy to consider doing something on the mellower side.

i've already admitted in the second paragraph of my self summary.

(ideally) you:

-- are an atypical, really intelligent, rational, cute, introspective, non smoking, sexually open/experimental woman who doesn't want/have kids. (i tend to go for dark with a natural look, focusing on eyes, teeth and skin, by the way -- but not always.)

-- want to spend a lot of time with your partner, hanging out with friends, going to dinner, entertaining, playing sports, watching tv -- whatever.

-- are also turned on by good grammar and the ability to keep up with rapid/sarcastic banter (to me it's a reflection of intelligence).

-- are into music.

-- like cats.

-- don't like bush. if you're pro-bush/right wing, it won't work on a permanent basis; please inquire about temporary placements.

on second thought, i don't think i could even just sleep with someone who was pro-bush/right wing. even for temp stuff, i've just got to draw the line.
