My self-summary
Born Yorkshire, raised Norfolk, live London. Determined sometimes to my own detriment.
What I’m doing with my life
I make things..... Big sculptural things with lights and video and whatever else necessary. I sit in the seemingly quite unpopulated no-mans-land between the artistic and technical. I also do some animation and live VJing. My work gets mostly shown electronic music events... things have come a long way since bouncing in front of a dirty soundsystem in the middle of a forest.
I’m really good at
Being a jack of all trades. Building new things and solving problems along the way.

Coming up with an idea and seeing it all the way through to being realised.

Norfolk accents.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hitting the non-fiction at the moment. I've found myself wanting to know more about a subject and reading up on that.

In terms of fiction... Eco, DeLillo, Michel Houellbecq, Palahniuk, Martin Amis (really ought to re-read London fields now that I live in the neighbourhood), Murakami, our illustrious bard, Camus. ,various classical stuff (-Aristophanes, not Austen) ..All sorts really, and I'm always up for recommendations.

Coen Bros, Wes Anderson, Spike Jonze, Danny Boyle, English cinema in general as long as it remains the right side of twee. Scifi. (And if you think Scifi necessarily means spaceships and aliens you need to readjust your definition). 'Hombre mirando al sudeste' is probably my favourite Scifi film. Anything dystopian and post-apocalyptic.

Stopped watching TV on a TV years ago. But still watch the odd show online from recommendations... Breaking bad (of course), The thick of it (probably the funnniest show ever made), Walking dead (Getting bored of that one now actually that might get ditched)
The six things I could never do without
So there's more than six.... What kind of weird dictum would state you could only have 6 things of your choosing??

I'm not going to make a list of abstract nouns here... obviously nobody wants to live without friendship and humour... otherwise you'd be a sociopath.

A good pair of boots.
Red wine.
The scientific discoveries of Messrs Hoffman and Shulgin.
My leatherman. In fact can i have my whole tool kit as one item?
My van.

I would always want a copy of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead by Tom Stoppard., even though i know half of it by heart. There are scenes in that play which will make me laugh til the day I die. ("Why exactly are you behaving in this extraordinary manner?") I guess you have to be a fan of Hamlet too.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to survive the apocalypse.

How to be happy / happier.

How to live up to my morals.

How to make life easier for myself.

How people who do immoral things justify it to themselves.

Whether i should just sack it all in and run off somewhere.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't really have 'typical' Friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once very nearly rolled a van by parking it.
