My self-summary
Crafted and assembled in Ballard, Seattle; currently being distributed in Brooklyn and occasionally Berlin. Packaged with math and philosophy from the University of Washington.

If you think this is dope, then we'll get along just fine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHlnLn7aBlo

I solve problems on computers. I hit keys on a MIDI keyboard. Do you have scotch? I'll probably be your bestest friend. Are you passionate about whatever it is you like? Fuck yeah, let's chat about it.

I once jump kicked a metal cabinet when I was a kid, and now I can't feel anything on my ring and pinky toe on my left foot. I don't even know if this relates to my life in a larger sense. Maybe I paid off the karma right away and that's why I never broke any bones up to this point.
What I’m doing with my life
I mash on my keyboard a couple of times and make websites work.

I'm an organizer of things: books, board game nights, barbecues, travel plans, sometimes clothes.
I’m really good at
Losing at board games (mainly because all of my friends conspire to make me lose every single time. Bastards.)

I'm also pretty okay at trying new things at least once, getting folks together for social events, and nerding out about music, movies, computers, politics, and social justice.

I sometimes try my hand at philosophy every now and again, but I'm way too rusty. It'd be fantastic to find someone to chat with that's into that stuff, though.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm chinese (completely wrong, BTW.)

Also, my glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
GBV! Radiohead! New Order! MF Doom! Elliott Smith (only some of the time!)

Kubrick.

Pizza?

Oh man did I tell you about 'The Wire' and how it's the best show ever?

Endless amounts of long form essays from The Atlantic and The New Yorker help me pass the time, too.
The six things I could never do without
Laptop, table, pizza, ideas, philosophy, Brooklyn Lagers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How computers and networks are so shitty all the time and somehow works anyway. Really, I've no idea how the hell anything works. I think about ways to make that a bit better.

Why the fuck are there so many pedants?

How exactly do I refer to an exact object in the world? Is it by 'pointing', is it by describing everything about it? HOW DO I DO IT GUYS.

Oh, and gender/race politics and privilege.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably bullshitting with friends. Probably would be at a music show as well. I think I eat somewhere in that busy, busy schedule?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Can't drive. Don't know how to, never took any lessons. Public transportation has spoiled me way too much.
You should message me if
* You're down for going to a show (of the musical or artistic persuasion)
* If gender and race politics gets you going as well, or you're at least somewhat open about it
* You may have a really nerdy interest (anything, really. I'm looking for passion than anything.)

TL;DR: I get weak in the knees for smarty pants.
