What I’m doing with my life
i feel like ive lived a hundred lives. just now i am an artist and
a set dresser/ occasional art director/prod. designer for
commercials and music videos. i travel. i kickbox. i feel like i
already answered this question.

books: catch -22, nine stories (a perfect day for bananafish), american psycho, fear and loathing in las vegas: a savage journey to the heart of the american dream, the sirens of titan (and all vonnegut), blood meridian, the grifters, the dead, the little prince, the master and margarita etc etc
movies: i think the best movie ive seen in semi-recent memory is synechdoche, ny. lynch. von trier. brothers quay. city of lost children. memento. fight club. eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. i like them dark.
music: music is my greatest love. burn me a good cd and i am yours forever; radiohead (d'uh.), tom waits, jolie holland, bjork, white stripes, nin, neutral milk hotel, joanna newsom, pj harvey, bon iver, bowerbirds lately, bonnie prince billy, cat power, velvet underground, portishead, pixies, nick cave, elliot smith, elvis perkins. this list is impossible.

The six things I could never do without
hope, music, art, travel, love and the occasional mind blowing
experience.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
art. friendship. life. sex. vacation. sex on vacation. what it
means when i order my matches search by "grey goo." why so many men
are spending so much time thinking about the zombie apocalypse. how
not to think at all.
