My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a funny, friendly, open-minded gal. I am very silly and would like to meet someone to complement my silliness. I like some nerdy things like sci-fi, anime and comic books. Just finished grad school in Speech-Language Pathology. Love to drink beer and go to movies. Love to give hugs, receiving them is nice too.

I've always liked learning about new things; if you have an interest in something with which I am not very familiar, I will probably pick your brain.

My family is extremely important to me. My best friend is my sister and I'm living with her now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
JUST finished graduate school and looking for work! I hope to work in a medical setting with adults. I also just returned from being away for two months, so lately I've been catching up with friends at happy hours.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, cracking jokes, napping, staying organized, being there for people who need me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually it's my eyes and hair. Personality-wise, it's that I'm sincere and laid-back and have a diseased sense of humor. I try to find the humor in any situation, but I also know when it's time to be serious. My balance is good.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movie: Top 6 list: Cinema Paradiso, Kids in the Hall Brain Candy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Moonstruck, Pride and Prejudice, Wet Hot American Summer. And I love documentaries.
TV: Colbert Report, Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Downton Abbey, Hannibal. Just started to watch the second season of Young Justice.
Music: My cult doesn't let me listen to music OR dance. When they're not watching me, I turn on the Current or Top 40 - depends on my mood. I truly like a little bit of everything - I know it's a completely boring answer, but it's actual and factual. I have a special place in my heart for 90's R&B and I don't care who knows it.
Books: I'm in a book club so I read at least one non-school book a month. I usually fall asleep too quickly so it takes me a long time to get through one. I prefer non-fiction over fiction. And sometimes YA fiction. Don't judge.
Food: Whatever you put in front of me but in moderation. I have little patience for cooking; I can make salad dressing, spaghetti, and toast. Basically, you cook, I'll chop. And I'm very good at getting the dishes afterwards.
Other: I like to listen to This American Life, Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me..., Fresh Air, Radiolab, and Frontline.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The seasons, ice cream, laptop, the internet, iPhone, bed.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
everything. Can't get the hamster wheel in my head to stop spinning.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out at dinner or small bar with friends, or staying in with a movie. I waver between having a lot of activities and being completely lazy. I'm crazy low-maintenance, don't even try to take me to a club. Trivia nights, karaoke, bowling, board games, etc. are all good. Any place with good food, good beer, and a relaxed atmosphere is fine by me. Cards Against Humanity with good friends is the best.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't swim. Actually, it's that I'm afraid to swim in deep or choppy waters. Then again, I totally surprised myself when I went snorkeling in Hawaii a couple years ago. So maybe I don't really know what I'm saying...

I've purchased infomercial products.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You consider yourself to be/have:
A good smile
Laid-back
Down to earth
A little nerdy
Intensely funny
A carnivore (omnivore, I should say)

You don't/aren't:
Wear skinny jeans
Practice yoga everyday (to clarify, once in a while is fine - just don't be more flexible than me, it's weird)
A starving artist
Looking for a casual hookup
Smoke cigarettes, crack is ok

A little cynicism is healthy, but if you're a brooding douchebag, why didn't you just stay at home? Also, why are you messaging me if you live in Arkansas...?
