Actually, that's not really the start of the story either. The real start of the story is that I recently learned how to fly a stunt kite. If you’ve never seen one of these things, they’re AMAZING. They look and fly like magical objects from storybooks. They have two control lines so they can zip across the sky, stop on a dime, spin around in place, and then bolt back straight up into the air.
Ok, now that we've gone and started this story twice, I figure once more probably couldn't hurt. Here goes: I’m pretty vicious with a soldering iron, and I spent some time building a lighting array for the kite so that it glows a beautiful pulsing blue when it flies.
And now to continue from the first line of what should have really been a very simple answer:
Lately, on Friday nights, I’ve spending a lot of time at the park. I usually go out at 2 or 3 am to fly my glowing stunt kite with some friends. In the morning, I log onto the 911 website to see how many UFO calls I’ve triggered.
