I'm an active person, I like to get out and run, hike, kayak, and rock climb, or anything else I can think of. I'm always looking for more people who share these interests. I'll try just about anything once. If you like any of that, or something along those lines we'll probably get along well enough.

I am a decent cook, but I don't bake. Even though I can cook, I generally don't, it's a lot of work to cook and clean to make one meal for just myself. The one exception is chili, I love it and I make it all the time.

I think loyalty is the most important quality in a friend, and I'm an intensely loyal person. I would do anything for my friends, anything.

I'm not a big fan of writing I'd rather just have a conversation... so that's all I'll say here, want to know more, message me.

I graduated from school at University of Rochester in mechanical engineering a year and a half ago. I'm working as a design engineer. I stepped into a lead engineer role about six months ago and it's been great. It's a lot of work but I really like my job.

I'm kind of a jack of all trades, for the most part I'm pretty good at the things I try, being unbelievably stubborn helps with that, if I'm not good at it I'll just keep going til I get it.

I can ride a unicycle, I used to do some pretty intense off-road stuff with it i.e. over trees, down hills, over ledges, etc. Haven't done that in quite a while, but I do still own the unicycle and I could probably still do a bit... I could probably teach you if you were looking for additional useless skills.

Right now, probably my beard, it's kind of hard to miss, though it would be a lot more wild if I didn't feel obligated to keep it trimmed for work. Other than that, you tell me.

Books: Honestly, I've never been much of a reader. I'd rather spend my time at the gym or out for a run.

Movies: Fight Club, The Matrix (the first one of course), 300, The Shawshank Redemption, Boondock Saints, Caddyshack, Blackhawk Down

Shows: House, Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, Psych

Music: Mainly rock/classic rock, not a big fan of rap. Other than that I'm not too picky. Also a fan of traditional Irish and Celtic music like Gaelic Storm.

Food: Chili, Beef in pretty much any form, Most breakfast foods

What the next batch of beer I should brew is, or how to improve the recipes I'm working on.

Also, how to better explain to my friend why his "winning" roulette strategy is wrong. He refuses to accept my math.

I like to hang out with friends, doesn't really matter what we do, it's about keeping good company. When I do go out I'd rather go to a bar with a dart board and a pool table than a club, but as long as they have a decent beer selection I won't complain.

If you take the time to message me I will most likely respond. EXCEPTION: if you message me with just a "hello" or the like, I don't really know how to respond to that, so I probably won't.

If you're looking for someone to hang out with, or if we have some hobbies in common. Or if you just think we might have an interesting conversation, I'm usually pretty willing to talk about almost anything.

P.S. I recently started brewing my own beer, so if you like beer then you should also message me, chances are I've got more than I can, or at least should, drink myself. UPDATE: I'm also looking for more people who enjoy beer to help me with market research. I'd like more opinions on the new recipes I'm working on. The most recent recipe is a robust porter, but I'm always looking for more ideas.
