My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What's it like to date me? Let me tell you about it.

I want to meet and talk for awhile, then walk home excited for next time.
...to ride all the rides in this amusement park of a city.
...to make plans for something that I think you'd like, but is secretly just so I can get you into that little black dress in your closet.
...to spend time with our friends.
...to drive north of here.
...to fly south, east, and west of here.
...to hike all day, see things that stir our hearts and imaginations, then walk home with just enough energy to ravage each other before collapsing into sleep.
...to stop at a diner along the way because there's something great about eating at a diner while traveling.
...to find a fireplace and use it. I don't care where, but I have a few in mind.
...to team up and knock out some of these do-it-yourself projects I've been thinking about.
...to solve a mystery together. (hey, it could happen)
...and then, I don't know, grow old together?

That about covers it. What would you add?

And here's some music while you read the rest:

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The last five years in New York have been the best of my life. This city has brought out the best in me, and I love her for that.

I'm a web developer for one of the large midtown media companies. I live alone in a fun neighborhood. I spend my time with friends and family, or solo, eating good food, seeing the world, drawing, all that stuff. So if it's like they say, and this really is the last dance for planet Earth, I’ll go out knowing I lived a life full of experience, awareness and love. And tacos.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Wearing plaid, so I'm told.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'd rather save this stuff for later.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Dumb question, let's change it.

Things that make me happy

1. my camera
2. getting packages in the mail
3. window unit air conditioners (open windows are great too, but that sound...)
4. twilight (the hour, not the books/movies)
5. a really good film
6. outdoor showers
7. maps
8. orange Tic-Tacs
9. salt
10. storms
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Guy stuff. You know, movies, women, Batman.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Damn right I am.

But really when I'm dating someone I'd say I like a 70:30 stay in vs go out ratio on a Friday night, Saturday being more of 30:70. Not to mention all the going out Sun-Th. I'm social, with a great group of friends, and I love this city, but it's nice to enjoy to comforts of home. Also I host killer board game + dinner party nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I honestly can not remember the last time I was bored.

But when I have a spare moment, I search Kayak for direct flights from JFK to Laguardia. Some day, I'm gonna see one, and I'm gonna book it.

If you want to be each others' Rushmore:

Herman: What's the secret, Max?
Max: The secret?
Herman: Yeah, you seem to have it pretty figured out.
Max: The secret, I don't know... I guess you've just gotta find something you love to do and then... do it for the rest of your life. For me, it's going to Rushmore.

So I want to be with someone excited about dating. I know it's New York and we all have busy lives, but I want to be with someone who's excited to spend time with me and do all that fun stuff together.
