My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live in downtown Portland and go to an art school. This means that before I go outside, I need to look like as much of a hipster as possible. I do this so that the people I meet are more receptive and overall nicer to me. In reality, I'm just a nerdy guy. Yes, I actually need these glasses.

Sometimes I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor, which doesn't always translate well online (if you haven't noticed by now).

I'm into health and fitness and I'm always looking to improve myself as a person. I've made major changes in my life in the past year. I eat a balanced diet and have lost over 100lbs recently, but I still have a long way to go. I go to the gym regularly, so it'd be great to find someone else who is looking to stay active and take care of themselves. Don't get me wrong; that doesn't mean you can't be curvy or full-figured, but I'm trying to be healthy and would like to find someone with a similar mindset.

I was born in Oregon, but I moved around a lot and graduated from high school in Germany. Somehow I found my way back to Portland and have been living here ever since.

My dream is to work in the film industry and be a successful filmmaker. Right now I'm only a filmmaker. I haven't quite figured out the "successful" part yet.

My lucky number is 23. It seems to follow me everywhere. That Jim Carrey movie was terrible.

I have my hair cut so that I can style it into a pompadour. I'm usually too lazy to ever style it (it's a lot of work!).

I tend to think a lot of people just don't "get" me. I'm a loner, Dottie. A rebel.

If you know what that previous quote is from, we'll probably get along really well.

I've been on this site a couple of times before without much luck, so I'm not really expecting much, but I seem to keep finding my way back here. I guess what I'm really trying to say is, "I still haven't found what I'm looking for." Thanks Bono.

Making new friends is always good too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finishing up school and getting my name out there. People tell you that it's all about who you know. I respectfully disagree. It's all about who knows you.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at a lot of things, as long as I put my mind to it. I think it'd be more interesting to tell you things I'm really bad at.

I'll tell you this though, I'm really good at procrastinating, so I'll make a list of things I'm bad at later.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't think I've ever asked someone what they first noticed about me, so I couldn't really give an answer. Maybe I should find out.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

There's seriously too much to list and I rather not put all my cards out on the table. You'll just have to find out for yourself. It'll give us a lot of things to talk about with one another!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I have always hated filling out this portion of my profile. I usually give a smart-ass answer like the essentials to life, but I'll just say the one thing I could never do without is my family. Without them I have nothing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm always up in my heading thinking about something. I wish I approached my life in a much more zen kind of way with a clear mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Thinking that it's Friday and I should probably be doing something much more interesting so I can write it on my OkCupid profile and not be blatantly lying.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I watch a lot of RuPaul's Drag Race with my sister, who is also my roommate, because she absolutely loves that show and she always has it playing.
