My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been watching the Before Sunrise movies and realized I would like to have an adventure like Jesse and Celine had in the first film. Or like Bob and Charlotte had in Lost in Translation. Or even better--like April and Andy on Parks and rec.

I love geeky stuff such as comics, table top games.

My favorite sport is women's basketball (Indiana Fever, Seattle Storm, UConn Huskies fan). I write a lot about the sport and issues in women sports.

I don't really like to travel. The few trips I've taken have been for articles I was writing at the time. I'm usually ready to head home after a couple of days.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing. I work as a writer. I've taken a break from freelance journalism but am always looking for a new story. I write a lot about women's basketball. Used to write a lot about the Indiana music scene. Writing has taken me to New York City and San Francisco. Also write fiction but have been most successful with nonfiction. Currently working on my first book.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. Knowing geeky trivia. Giving you needless info about women's basketball.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm quiet. And my eyes.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm finding I can do without a lot of stuff and I'm challenging myself to see just how much I can do away with. But I will always need a laptop, internet, and an ipod filled with music. And something to read.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to end stories I'm writing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching basketball, reading, watching a movie. playing games.
