My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm a designer/illustrator/copywriter living in New York. I moved here in early 2012 after spending a fall weekend here in 2011 and realizing I grew up on the wrong coast line. That and I grew up watching Ghostbusters constantly so NY always had mythic and comedic influence.

And since I finally took that test thingy: INTJ.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Designer/illustrator/copywriter and I'm writing my own comedic web comic and a more serious, philosophical science fiction comic that will hopefully be done before some sort of asteroid or the Tea Party kill us all. So in short... I draw and write all the time. If you do anything in that dept too, that would be awesome and make for some productive hang out sessions.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well hopefully writing and drawing... but I'm decent at cooking, figuring people out, picking out furniture and apartments I can't afford, figuring out who the killer is, raising a judgmental or shocked (its hard to tell which is which) eyebrow, metabolizing alcohol and standing on the train without holding on to anything (which is weird cuz I can't skate or surf to save my life) and finally, using a metaphor from Star Wars to solve any crisis I or a friend may be having... its a mega myth comprised of countless world mythological archetypes, myths were made to visualize and simplify complex human situations, Star Wars happens to be a super simple awesome example. With robots so... there.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Um, I'm tall.

Or "you look like Clark Kent!" To which I reply, I look like Superman? To which they reply, "no you look like Clark Kent." To which I reply awesome and I go and I stand on my own and I leave on my own (and some other fun Moz lyrics as well)...

Also that I've seen a lot of movies. That becomes apparent quickly. I would assume my glasses. Strangely never my Johnny Cash tattoo. I worked at a place for six months, where we wore t shirts everyday, before anyone noticed.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laptop with Adobe Creative Suite, iPod, head phones, Arcade Fire, Batman, gyoza.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My art, other people's art, music, storytelling, when is my ship going to come in, why am I thinking about this when I should be writing/drawing, did I forget my keys, am I too old, am I too young, where is my mind, how can my cats still be hungry?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately... not doing much. Usually I catch up on shows, decompress from the work and order something amazing from Seamless. But I'm just as ready to go out if the chance presents itself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
but... it's like... private... oh all right. I'm starting to get excited for Batman v Superman finally.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are creative or involved in creative things or are at least a super fan of creative things. You are balanced. You've lived. You've explored. You've struggled. You've learned. You know who you are. You don't let anyone tell you different, without being an ass about it (that last part so maybe you can teach me how I can continue to be all "mutant and proud" without coming off as an ass myself...).

Superficially but also important I think: You are super into your music/films/fandoms of any kind and are fine with me liking or not liking them. You like Batman too much. You like Star Wars too much. You like any of the bands I listed. You appreciate style without being a slave to anyone's rules of style. Your style is yours and reflects what you're really about and not because its a thing. And that can mean literal style, or your life philosophies in general. None of this is making sense... or is it? I'll shut up now.
