Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening and trying to make people feel better. I'm good at being a good friend. I'm good at video games. I'm good at getting distracted really easily.

Edit: Please skim through this section if it seems overwhelming, I have constantly added stuff to it for the past 10 years. I've been on this site since it was created.

Books: The Lord of the Rings, The Hitchhikers "Trilogy", Hardcore Zen, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Franny and Zooey, A Song of Ice and Fire, A Clockwork Orange... Currently on a huge Sci-Fi kick, mostly Asimov and Iain M. Banks stuff, lovin' it.

Edit: Recently read The Hunger Games books, they were pretty alright, I liked the 3rd book the best. Recently read a bunch of Phillip K. Dick novels / short stories and they are all fucking great. Currently reading The Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons, I am on book 3 "Endymion" and am enjoying it a lot.

Movies: Seven Samurai, Anything Wes Anderson (The Royal Tennenbaums, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Bottlerocket), I <3 Huckabees, Clerks, Mallrats, Beerfest, Oldschool, the original Star Wars Trilogy, Sin City, Fight Club, Suicide Club, some Tikashi Miike, Monty Python movies, Stanley Kubrick (A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dr. Strangelove), Donnie Darko, Spring Summer Fall Winter... and Spring, The Rules of Attraction, The Science of Sleep, Shaun of the Dead, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Garden State, ANYTHING BY Tarantino etc etc

Music (in no order): Modest Mouse (favourite band of all time), Blur, Beatles, Beck, NIN, Aphex Twin, Nirvana, The Pixies, Refused, Self / Matt Mahaffey, Air, Tool, Jimi, Beck, Bad Astronaut, Apples in Stereo, The Shins, The Advantage / other assorted video game music, Cold War Kids, American Analog Set, Murder by Death, The Blood Brothers, Muse, Pavement, NOFX, anything Ken Anrews (Failure, On, Year of the Rabbit) , Broken Social Scene, Sigur Ros, The Kooks, Pinehurst Kids, The Thermals, Ween, Richard Cheese, My Bloody Valentine, Asobi Seksu, The Dead Milkmen, Mickey Avalon, The Moldy Peaches / Adam Green, Hum, CCR, Against Me!, Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Coheed and Cambria, You am I, ATDI, The Flaming Lips, KMFDM / MDFMK, Lily Allen, The Plastic Constellations, Qua, Queens of the Stone Age, Silversun Pickups, The Arcade Fire, Midlake, MC Chris, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Ben Folds, old Weezer, Rise Against

Music I'm starting to listen to and like a lot: Blonde Redhead, Gogol Bordello, Interpol, Of Montreal, Spoon, Sufjan Stevens, Tegan and Sara, The Cribs, The Knife, The Fratellis, Zebrahead, Billy Talent, Bad Religion, Hot Hot Heat, Mew, Reverend Horton Heat, Regina Spektor, Elliot Smith. A lot of the stuff up there should be down here but I don't feel like going through it. There is too much damn good music out there for me to ever listen to all of it. This frustrates me sometimes, but also makes me happy in an indescribable way.

Music Edit: Currently on a big Black Metal kick, kinda... not really, but I did get into Taake and I got into a hybrid band Deafheaven that is a Black Metal - Shoegazer hybrid! I'ts awesome.

Food: Mexican, Italian, Cottage Cheese, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Buffalo Chicken, anything Spicy... I'll eat whatever as long as it has good taste.
