My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have one of those names where I get irrationally excited if the barista spells it right, but they get points if they at least put the 'L' in there. I'll let you take a guess at what the name is.

I'm ambitious and try to get as much out of a day as I can. Sometimes this means I leave early in the morning, work through the day, head out to one of my many activities, and don't come home until when most people have gone to bed. I love my lifestyle and would have it no other way. And then there are those days where I lounge around on the couch in my pajamas. Everyone needs some time off.

Toronto has been home for about a year now, since moving in from the suburbs. I love the diversity and culture that defines each section of the city. Despite having a rewarding day job, I stay active and healthy by practicing martial arts and dabbling in different yoga studios around town.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not so typical computer geek, with a side of action adventure super nerd. I spend my time making things go beep on a computer, whether its a free flowing arts page or teaching machines how to love.

I love gaming. In fact, I would almost say that I work so I can play all the different games out there. My favorite board game is Settlers of Catan followed closely by Betrayal at the House on the Hill. I also have a massive steam library that I have no hope of ever finishing.

When I don't have a sore back or jammed fingers from rolling around in a Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu academy, you can find me trying out all the different flavors of the city. I enjoy going to the fancy five star yelp reviewed restaurant as much as the hole in the wall cash only venues.

TL;DR I fight, I game, and I write code.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a problem solver, so I love to fix, build, and create. I like to keep a balance between using my awesome computer skills and flexing my creativity and going on photo walks or painting on an acrylic medium. I'm extremely active to the point where I have something planned for everyday after work, but I do enjoy time off during the weekend to make sure I have time for those closest to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To be honest I have never thought about this until now because I have never ran into myself on the street. When I was a child, one of my nicknames was "Dumbo" because of my big ears. I insist that I've grown into them since then.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Game of Thrones, both the book series and the TV show. I love George R.R. Martin's amazing story telling abilities and Sci-fi novels like Ender's Game or the Forever War. I've read most of Malcolm Gladwell's work, but I take it with a grain of salt.

I rarely limit myself to a certain style or genre of music but instead enjoy anything that is catchy and fun to sing along. You will find anything from Top 40's to jazz and even some show tunes from broadway.

I'm a fan of Dan Savage so you probably know what type of person I am in terms of being open.

This needs to have board game section, in which case Catan will make it to the top of the list.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The excitement of good competition
The tranquility of fishing by a lake
Waking up to an alarm and realizing it's Saturday
The clatter of a six sided die
The click clack of a camera shutter
The incredible speed of all the tech around us
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
To invent your own life's meaning is not easy, but it's still allowed. And I think you'll be happier for the trouble - Bill Watterson
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Picking through my steam library to figure out what I would like to play for the weekend.

Hopping through trendy coffee shops, enjoying the tunes, and a good steamy cup of mocha.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm comfortable being alone, and this can mean that I go out for the discount tuesday night cineplex tickets and maybe go out to grab a bite afterwards by myself. There is blissfulness in solidarity.

It's a Wednesday night and you really feel that it should be Friday already. Maybe we can make a date we can both look forward to at the end of the week.
