My self-summary
I'm a goofball nerd without all the socially inept baggage that stereotype implies. I like good beer, good food, and good conversation. I'm a solid pub quiz player, if by chance you need another person for your team.

I love to cook, I'm awesome at it, and I'm unashamedly proud of that.

I love games—any kind. I've forgotten more card games than most people learn, and I love most board games. I used to play a lot of video games, but I don't spend much of my time on that anymore; I do still love me some SNES, though.

Basically, I just try to have a good time in whatever I do. Maybe that makes me a bit of a hedonist, but hey - as the Sumerians said, "Fill your belly. Day and night make merry. Let days be full of joy. Dance and make music day and night." Sounds like a pretty rad life to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Exploring the shit out of this city. I've been here almost a year now, and I've barely scratched the surface.

I write code at an agency, but I'm not a poindexter, a neckbeard, or a brogrammer. Basically, I consider myself lucky to be able to make a living doing something I like without it having to define my life.
I’m really good at
lots of little things. I like to accumulate useful skills and tricks—from hanging drywall to making a souffle to folding fitted sheets into a tidy square.
The first things people usually notice about me

Good food, a deck of cards, pens and paper, music, humor, Wikipedia.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
space, zombiepocalypse, myths & folk tales, what's for dinner, what the future will be like, the origin of consciousness, the amazing improbability of anything existing at all
On a typical Friday night I am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once rubbed mustaches with a friend of mine. It was far more awkward than if we had just open-mouth kissed each other.
