People think it's strange that I know nothing about pop culture. I find it refreshing. I get lost easily and can't remember faces. But aside from that I think I'm a pretty high-functioning individual. I'm well-educated, well-adjusted and work hard at what I do. I enjoy politics, sports, beer, being outdoors, and travelling, not necessarily in that order. I'm very easy-going and can enjoy just about anything if I'm with the right company.

What I’m doing with my life

Living my dream. I get to "save the world" and get paid to do it. I am a public interest environmental justice attorney. I'm exactly where I want to be in life, except that I am working a bit too hard these days. It's time to find some balance between work and life.

I’m really good at

I think I'm a pretty good dancer for someone who doesn't listen to much music. I'm competitive, so I like beating people at things like pool, ping pong, bowling, etc. I'm not a sore loser, but I may be an insufferable winner. Once upon a time, I was a pretty darn good rugby player.

I guess I shouldn't say my tits.... so yeah, they notice my sparkling green eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

For books it's usually just the last one I read, though I definitely have a weakness for magical realism. I went through a whole Russian literature phase but now I like to read more fluffy books, such as David Sedaris and Tom Robbins.

For movies, I really enjoy fantasy and science fiction like Pan's Labyrinth, City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club.

My favorites would have to be jazz, most kinds of international music, and reggae. When I'm out I enjoy any music I can dance to.

I'm turning out to be a bit of a foodie. Sometimes I like to splurge on a really good meal out. I like most foods but unlike many people in the Bay Area, I really dislike sushi.

The six things I could never do without

My friends and family, my cats, travelling, days off...everything else is gravy.

My job unfortunately, and how I am going to make more time in my life for outside activities.
