I'm 24, poly pansexual, mom to a beautiful baby boy, nerdy, sometimes a jewish witch and sometimes an atheist, and I don't deal well with bullshit.

Note: I am not actually in Madison yet. I am moving within the year, and so I figured I'd look for cool folks to hang out with early. I'm very open to penpal-type stuff :)

Playing with my dogs and cats, enjoying the sunshine whenever I am lucky enough to get it, snuggling my husband, studying so that someday I might make money and so that I can always be happier with who I am. I'm a gender, women, and sexuality studies major. Getting sick and tired of to small town life. Playing World of Warcraft, sometimes, and writing, and taking care of my baby.

Writing, mostly genre-fic- scifi and fantasy. Construction and wood work. Listening, and giving honest advice.

That I look really happy, apparently (or so my drunk friend says). I would guess my big Jewish nose, though.

Authors instead: Vladimir Nabokov, Sherri Tepper, Neil Gaimen, H.P. Lovecraft... I just got done with (what is out of) the George RR Martain Song of Ice and Fire series. It was wonderful, though by the end I just wanted someone to be happy. Top favorite books include Beauty by Sherri Tepper, and Rose Daughter by Robin McKinley, the Hitchhiker's Guide Series, Sandman...those are the kinds of things I can read over and over. I'm currently reading Moby Dick, and I find it a little hard to read, but really enjoyable anyway. I think it's hard to read, for me, because I don't really get a lot of the biblical references (...which shows you how I was raised...).

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Mirrormask, When Harry Met Sally. I'm pretty open minded about movies. TV shows kind of fall into that catagory: Dr Who, Star Trek, Life on Mars...I guess I'm a science fiction girl, deep down inside.

Music: I loves me the music. Usually I tend to be a indie kid. I like Seven Nations, The Postal Service, neutral milk hotel, Regina Spektor, The Decemberists, Death Cab For Cutie, Belle and Sebastian, Camera Obscura, Indigo Girls, The Magnetic Fields...you get the idea.

Food: I love, love, love sushi. I avoid meat a lot, because it kinda makes me sick. I like curries and chili and really good stuff.

My family, my animals, food and water and a roof over my head (because it's pretty hard to live without those), books, pens, and paper.

People, politics (too much time with that, honestly). I'm passionate about equal rights and big on reproductive freedom.

Probably hanging out with my roommates and husband and walking my dog around.

How can you rate the most private thing? This is a bad question.

Um...I'm really naive and generally try to see the most beautiful thing in everyone, but I generally fail miserably.
