My self-summary
There are too many cliches.

I'm looking for the right woman for me.

I'm looking for a relationship hopefully. Someone I can stay in, make food, and watch Woody Allen movies with, but also go to concerts at dirty bars and drink too much with (but only sometimes).

I read too much. Really, way too much. I need to slow it down. I'm reading about 3 books at a time. It's too damn much. If you don't like reading, that's probably not ok.

Lastly, I'm somewhat of a nerd. I love watching and playing sports, but a lot of times I'd rather play an obscure board game or talk way too much about music. I read full Wikipedia articles way too often and know way too much about Batman, Spider-Man, and Daredevil.

I like to fucking laugh.

"I am a leaf on the wind..." Hope you know that quote.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a high school English teacher. I really enjoy my job, though it will probably put me in the grave very early.
I’m really good at
For real? I don't know, man. Teaching, but that's so intangible, what does it even mean? I think I'm a good cook. I can lift heavy things. I can change my oil. Pretending my dog is talking back to me. Trivia.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and my sense of humor I suppose.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Great Gatsby, 1984, Breakfast of Champions, the Perks of Being a Wallflower, Scott Pilgrim, A Song of Ice and Fire, Jon Krakauer, The Things They Carried, David Foster Wallace, Ernest Hemingway, the Catcher in the Rye, Maus, Things Fall Apart, Shakespeare.

Movies: Sergio Leone and Clint Eastwood Westerns, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Original Star Wars Trilogy, Dr. Strangelove, most of Wes Anderson, Manhattan.

TV: Community, Doctor Who, Firefly, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Bob's Burgers.

Music: It varies. Right now, Vampire Weekend, Blue Album/Pinkerton, Bowie, Ray Charles, The National, Kanye West, and too much random jazz.

Food: Homemade. Also just about anything with peanut butter. My dog and I are very much alike in this aspect, except that I would most likely not lick it off of other people's fingers.
