I am awesome, radical, and modest.
My Self-Summary
I have opinions. I like to share them. I like to hear others
opinions. Then I tell them why they are wrong. (I hope everyone
gets that it's a joke. Because it is. I also think I am a stitch.
However my RL friends only ever seem to respond to my quick-witted
quips with groans rather than the kudos I think they deserve.) (I
also like parentheticals.)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a sophmore in college. Still trying to figure out
what I want to do with my life.
I’m really good at
Being pedantic. Wanna know the etymology of a phrase or the
connotation of a word? I'll tell you that and also how you're using
it wrong. Naturally, this makes me an absolute gas at parties.
(I'll also correct your spelling and grammar for free. Because I'm
just that nice.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I hope it's my sparkling personality and dry wit and not the fact
that I move sort of like Lurch from the Addams family. (Except he
can play the organ better than I can. Bastard.)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books are trashy sci-fi or fantasy novels preferably
written in a humorous vein.
As for movies, I am particularly fond of Wilby Wonderful and The
Rage in Placid Lake. But I'll watch most anything as long as it has
an actual plot and isn't, you know, arty. *Wink*
I'm not particular about music at all. I prefer to understand the
lyrics but other than that, I'm pretty open.
Food. Mmmm. I like food and I like trying new foods. The other day,
I made samosas. They're an Indian food sort of like pierogies but
spicier. They were ok. The dough was kind of tough. I think I
handled it too much. Aren't you so glad you read this little
infobox?
The six things I could never do without
Six things I could never do without? Ummm, oxygen, ATP, working
kidneys... Sorry, this is kind of a weird thing to write about. I'm
having difficulty taking it seriously. Friends, music, my cat,
someone to whine to, my baking stuff, and my laptop.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the deep and impenetrable mysteries of the universe. HA! I wish. I
try to avoid thinking. It gives me a headache and that makes me
cranky.
On a typical Friday night I am
staring at the wall or getting my butt kicked at cards.
