My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Gotta love a self-summary.

I'm an excellent example of an extroverted introvert, I've been told. I love the crap out of people but I also need a lot of alone time to brood and read books and generally do nothing.
There isn't much I'm 100% on but I'm usually quite optimistic and also on the rambly/verbose end of the spectrum.

My dad is a scientist and we traveled a lot when I was a kid so I'm culturally a bit all over the place but I make up for it in sheer enthusiasm. Travel is still a major part of my life, partly because of work (I do artsy stuff), though I tend to be in London a lot.

I am quite partial to big butts, spearmint Mentos and documentaries. Also, food. Seriously. Food is awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in the art business, which is both exhausting and also really, really amazing and interesting. Artists are, at times, awful people to work with but interacting with them makes for good stories to tell at parties.

For instance, I once couldn't come into work because I had the flu and a really bad cough, so I emailed one of my artists to tell him I wouldn't be at his vernissage and he asked if he could have my phlegm to paint with.

Lovely. (He didn't get it but he still looks at me longingly when I cough in his presence.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Baking and pub quizzes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my glasses is the number one thing. For some reason, I get a lot of comments about them.

I also smile a lot and have a slightly frightening tendency to look people right in the eye when I talk to them. Hobos love that, though.

Books! Man, I am so into books. I'm really mainly into classics. Everyone always tells me that's a bit boring and "grandma" of me but I don't particularly care. I'll generally read anything if it's not boring or involves some Mary Sue character falling in love with an asshole vampire/slightly unhinged millionaire.

When I was a teenager, I read a lot of comics as well, specifically Marvel, so any film to do with Marvel ranks quite highly (excepting Fantastic Four, obviously, I don't know what that was.)
Anything involving Meryl Streep, Lucy Liu, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy and/or Benedict Cumberbatch is a film I will watch. Possibly several times. In a row.

Musically anything goes as well. I tend to like obscure bands better but that might just be me being pretentious. Foals are essentially the best band I've ever seen/listened to.

Food? I'll take it all.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My MacBook and functioning wifi
2. Food (because I love food, I'm not sure I've mentioned that before)
3. BBC documentaries
4. My bike
5. My asshole cat
6. My moleskine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Misogyny actually.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Getting drunk at my friend's house, after which I usually go home and watch endless reruns of QI on Dave.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I often eat rice with herb butter and soy sauce when I'm too lazy to cook. It's fantastic.
