Please, please, please!

Jul 29, 2010

If someone in or around the Knoxville area wants a small, independent, that can be an indoor/outdoor, trained, fixed, adorable kitty- PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know, I need to find her a good home by the end of the month and am STRESSING. Even if I could find someone that could take her for a week (I'll pay for food and litter) while I try to find her a more permanent home would be the most amazing thing in the world! Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Art with foods!

Dec 9, 2007

Looking upon atlantaman's post with Jell-o art made me think of all the crazy things we can do with foods!

Like espresso art:

And even a vegitable orchestra:

The Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove

I thought that you knew it all
Well youve seen it ten times before.
I thought that you had it down
With both your feet on the ground.
I love slow...slow but deep.
Feigned affections wash over me.
Dream on my dear
And renounce temporal obligations.
Dream on my dear
Its a sleep from which you may not awaken.

You build me up then you knock me down.
You play the fool while I play the clown.
We keep time to the beat of an old slave drum.
You raise my hopes then you raise the odds
You tell me that I dream too much
Now Im serving time in disillusionment.

I dont believe you anymore...i dont believe you.

I thought that I knew it all
Id seen all the signs before.
I thought that you were the one
In darkness my heart was won.

You build me up then you knock me down.
You play the fool while I play the clown.
We keep time to the beat of an old slave drum.
You raise my hopes then you raise the odds
You tell me that I dream too much
Now Im serving time in a domestic graveyard.

I dont believe you anymore...i dont believe you.

Never let it be said I was untrue
I never found a home inside of you.
Never let it be said I was untrue
I gave you all my time.

Wanderlust!

May 22, 2007

I am leaving this harbour
Giving urban a farewell
Its habitants seem to keen on God
I cannot stomach their rights and wrongs

I have lost my origin
And I don't want to find it again
Whether sailing into nature's laws
And be held by ocean's paws

Wanderlust! relentlessly craving
Wanderlust! peel off the layers
Until we get to the core

Did I imagine it would be like this?
Was it something like this I wished for?
Or will I want more?

Lust for comfort
Suffocates the soul
Relentless restlessness
Liberates me (sets me free)

I feel at home
Whenever the unknown surrounds me
I receive its embrace
Aboard my floating house

Wanderlust! relentlessly craving
Wanderlust! peel off the layers
Until we get to the core

Did I imagine it would be like this?
Was it something like this I wished for?
Or will I want more?

Wanderlust! from island to island
Wanderlust! united in movement
Wonderful! I'm joined with you

Wanderlust!

Can you spot a pattern?
