My self-summary
Note: My current photo is from over a year ago, and my hair is, nowadays, substantially longer.

A self summary always seems to be an invitation to be as narcissistic as possible, though after the first draft I'll rewrite it too sound like less of an asshole and come off as way to modest. Here I will try to write the best of both worlds.

I'm a geek, or maybe I should say a nerd, but a cool kind of geek/nerd. I'm a geek in that I adore retro video games and love the old consoles, I still play my Super Nintendo regularly. I'm a nerd because I know my way (or at least how to find my way) around a computer, that and my knowledge of Music Theory; I like telling people how their terrible Music is constructed and why it's so bad.
Being a geek/nerd I'm a little socially awkward, I don't do well around meeting people for the first time but that fades if you get to know me and like most of my friends, will be bewildered when I confess I'm a shy guy.
I tend to tell jokes that don't get much of a big laugh but a lingering laugh, as they ponder how ridiculous the joke and I am. It's usually pretty tasteless and absurd, or an ironic satire if my mind can think fast enough.
If I'm feeling too shy sometimes, I'll play some guitar as my introduction, but don't ask me to play Wonderwall or start a sing song unless it's Tenacious D we're singing.
Playing Guitar and Music in general is definitely a big part of what I do. If I'm not distracted by internet banalities I'm usually playing guitar, writing some riffs or doing some recording.
I'm a Metalhead, I love almost any music that's low and heavy. But I also love some good Classical, Acoustic or Jazz, and weirdly, I have a likeness for bad 80's songs.
There's probably more I could go on about but shouldn't there be a little mystery? That and I feel like I'm rambling.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently playing Guitar in two local Metal bands and making enough money from teaching a few kids Guitar. Most of my time is spent playing Guitar trying to get better or to write more Music, or studying Music through various books I have accumulated. Else I'm lounging about watching hilarious TV Shows or playing Video Games.
I’m really good at
Playing Guitar, although I'm far from the abilities I wish I had, people think I'm really good at it.
Video Games, unless it's Call Of Duty, I can get through Games quite quickly, though I tend to rage at incredibly difficult parts.
I'm pretty decent with computers, I've helped many a friend clear viruses and reformat their computer, though I'm usually ripping stuff off Google; and I used to do a bit of programming for flash games I'd make with some nerdy mates.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either how quiet I am or how loud I can be. If I'm playing a Guitar people tend to praise me for it, though I don't think I'm that good.

The six things I could never do without
Music - The listening, composing, recording and performing of
Video Games - The playing and cheap development of
TV Shows - The watching and bad scripting of
Food - The eating and cooking of
Friends - The bonding and making of
My Computer, for it easily allows me to do most of these things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Music in my head (which is mostly nostalgic Video game themes, and dissonant chromatic Metal), pondering existence to let go of the trivial, my misanthropic tendencies, sex and what to do for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling, whether it be by myself or with mates, at home or out and about. Occasionally I'll head out to a house party or a local gig and sometimes I'll be playing there.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Movies and Music have the strange ability to make me cry very easily, not sure why, but everyone rips on me for it, haha.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–22
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You're nerdy/geeky, prefer to think of yourself as Avant Garde instead of weird, or think we'd have a whale of a time together, drop a line. If you have Steam and want to cut the foreplay, you may add me (insaneHands).
