I am enjoying life, more & more since my divorce in 2006.
I had no idea life could be so good. (;>)

I'm trying to figure our how to make this third of my life "the best 1/3 of my life"! I love to LOL. Life is .... I have met some of the most incredible people in the past three years.

I LOVE learning new things, meeting new people and intend to continue. I took Compassionate Language classes in 2008 &9. I took Tai Chi in 2011 & workshop writing classes in 2010=12, and now 2013!!. What is the latest class YOU have taken?

MY most recent job was part-time faculty in the med center and volunteer at one of the museums. I'm fortunate to have friends I've known since I first worked at UTMB -Galveston in 1980's and new ones, in addition.

Houston is a great place for live music. I wonder why so many people sit motionless when they listen. Music moves me, I find it extremely difficult to sit still. I've taken a Zumba " exercise" class at Discovery Green.

I also enjoy the variety of museums and art galleries we have here.

Books evolving as we speak: scifi as a teen, self help, medical mysteries, recently a fictionalized Lewis & Clark journey as well as " How to survive your doctors".

Movies; Mama Mia for the second time with captions so the audience could sing along and AVATAR, next week "Camels in Galveston" @ HMNS

Music; 50's-60's, Smooth Jazz, Blues, eclectic

Food: Most ethnicities including txs bbq,
no grits liver, or gizzards

My vision to see the wonderful clouds, sunsets, sunrises, smiles, Friends, family, smiling faces, and being able to read.
My hearing to appreciate all the different varieties of music, to hear the voices of family & friends who live in different cities & states. My comfortably moving healthy body and mind:
the ability to taste wonderful ethnic food as well as good ole' TX BBQ.
Oh , air & h20 like the rest of you humans and added Mar,2,12 toilet paper and a toothbrush.

How fortunate I am .....

to have been born in the USA.
to have a mom & two sisters who I love and they love me.
to have a good education

to be able to move comfortably and enjoy hugs. etc
