My self-summary
I'm looking to be inspired.

I am the apple in Carl Sagan's flat-land thought experiment. I am a tesseract; sometimes perceived only by the shadows I cast.

I was born listening to The Dark Side of the Moon. Equal parts intense, playful, brilliant, passionate, and empathic. I'm absolutely eccentric, and a silly mister when the mood strikes, despite the way I write.

I am a working fine artist and live video performance artist; an Aesthetic Cataclysm.
What I’m doing with my life
Performing a hard reset on my existence. I relocated from Atlanta in November to further my artistic career. Just as I was ready to relocate last summer, my car suffered catastrophic engine failure and I was stranded. So I completely rebuilt it without really knowing what I was doing when I started, sank every penny I had into getting to LA and drove it across country with barely enough money for gas. Now I'm here, pursuing my art, living it up in LA with my hairless cat and my best friend swhymer. Though I assist him a little because he's crippled, he's one of those astonishing people who can do things like play darts with his feet or eat a 2x2 animal style at In 'N Out without the use of his arms or a napkin and still give you shit about using yours. So to that end, I'm working to surround myself with exceptional people. Things are going so well for me here. I'm very excited to accomplish even more than I already have in these few short months.

Right now I'm focusing on laying a foundation for my new life stable enough to bear my tremendous talents and even bigger aspirations. I'm cultivating my artistic career and soon I'll be going to another art school for a second degree. This time to study classical figurative painting, last time for a BFA in animation. I'm honing an aesthetic aptitude for art that violently alters perception. I'm exhibiting and working with artists that have profoundly influenced my work like Clive Barker, H.R. Giger, and Alex Grey. I'm performing live visuals with incredible EDM producers and DJ's, defacing corporate art, making art in public spaces, and sometimes infiltrating major museums to hang my work without permission.
I’m really good at
Making art. I'm really good at listening, nurturing, being honest, writing, inventing, and I build the best blanket forts. I can take apart and reassemble anything complex and mechanical, usually without losing parts (though I do frequently misplace that tool I was just holding). I kick ass at triggering seizures with my video art.
The first things people usually notice about me
They OUGHT to notice my ambition, my potential, my intelligence, talents, and passion for what I do.
Those whose notice I am most likely to reciprocate always notice the weight of my heart, not the size.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
STUFF THAT BRINGS ME JOY: Slow Lorises, when Han shoots first, my expensive oil paints, Kolinsky sable, the smell of gesso and turpenoid natural, Arches cover white, mechanical pencils, and belgians on draft. Sativas, synthetic motor oil, japanese incense, socket wrenches, play-doh cologne, stage diving, cuddling under ultra violet light, police issue handcuffs, and shaving with a straight razor.

ART: Giger, Dali, Beksinski, Witkin, Rembrandt, Schiele, Nerdrum, Caravaggio, Van Eyck, Klimt, Hans Bellmer, Francis Bacon, Bosch, and a long list of contemporaries like Alex Grey, Mark Ryden, Michael Hussar, Chet Zar, Peter Gric, Jeremy Geddes, on and on and on.

LITERATURE: Nietzsche, William S. Borroughs, Hunter S. Thompson, Kafka, Philip K Dick, Mark Z. Danielewski, H.P. Lovecraft, J.G. Ballard, Clive Barker. Anything cerebral.

FILMS: I'm very passionate about film, I'm sure we'll have something in common here. Soft spot for Studio Ghibli, Akira, the brothers Quay, Coraline and Paranorman, The Big Lebowski, Un Chien Andalou.

SHOWS: Haven't had a television in a long time, though there's always something on Cartoon Network I'm interested in seeing. I adore Adventure Time and Regular Show, Courage The Cowardly Dog.

MUSIC: Intense, math-oriented stuff. The more technically astonishing, the better. My tastes are varied, but I favor the extreme, dark, and very heavy. Dark classical, technical death metal, djent, funk, djentstep/deathstep, filthy EDM, intelligent or surreal hiphop, dark IDM. Alice in Chains. Aesop Rock. Pink Floyd. Primus, anything Les Claypool does. Meshuggah. I always start the mosh pit.
The six things I could never do without
Means and an End.

And infrasonic bass.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to fashion myself a halo from this albinoid Ouroboros. I spend much of my time thinking about my work, creative pursuits, self-awareness, self-improvement, and enjoying all forms of expression.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to pry open somebody's third eye with a paintbrush, a midi controller, and a crowbar. But there's certainly nothing typical about what I do with my Fridays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a stuffed animal Slow Loris named Mister Malu Fizzgig. I wish he would come to life like a living Muppet so we could be pals and go on adventures.
