My self-summary
I moved to Denver in August after 4 years in Portland. I'm a huge science nerd. It's not uncommon for me to read psychology or biochemistry articles in my free time. I also joined a rugby club in Denver and I plan on spending every free moment this winter in the mountains skiing.

If you let me play with your dog(s) then you will instantly become one of my favorite people. If you don't have dogs then how do you even find the motivation to get up in the morning?
What I’m doing with my life
I recently graduated from Lewis and Clark college with degrees in Chemistry and Psychology. I'm currently working at a hospital to get experience in the field before applying to med school.
I’m really good at
Procrastination and rationalization
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As far as books, I'll read anything with a good plot. My current favorite series is A Song of Ice and Fire. I also have a deep love for the Calvin and Hobbs comics and have read them all multiple times.

I'll watch pretty much any movie, depending on my mood. Some of my favorites are V for Vendetta, Thank you for Smoking, Top Gun, We were Soldiers, and Zombieland.

Archer is the greatest show in the history of TV. I also watch Arrow and The Flash, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks and Rec, Psych, and Scrubs.

I like most types of music. Some of my favorite bands/artists are Halestorm, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Eric Church, Atmosphere, Kid Cudi, Eminem, Hinder, Avenged Sevenfold, B.B. King, and so many others. I would say that Taylor Swift is a guilty pleasure, but at this point I don't really feel guilty about listening to her music.

As far as food goes, I'll eat just about anything put in front of me. I certainly cannot live without my spicy food. I also love cooking and will attempt to make anything.

In case you haven't noticed the theme here, I'm very open-minded and willing to try basically anything at least once.

Time to think
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All the fun subjects covered by the MCAT, and how my entire career plan depends on doing well on a single test.

Also, puppies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably either hanging out with a few friends or watching Netflix to recover from a long week. Or driving to the mountains for a ski weekend.
You should message me if
You can think critically and hold an intelligent conversation. Or if you want a skiing buddy. Or if you have a dog.

Especially if you have a dog.
