My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Andy. I travel a lot for my work and am usually in one place for no longer than a few months at a time. This makes it extremely challenging to date, but I thought it might be interesting to give this a whirl.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work regionally in theatre. I'm a traveling vagabond actor. This ranges from musicals, comedies, the occasional drama to educational theatre and improv.

I also love writing. I dabble in lyric writing, playwriting, and in the last year just started to explore screenwriting. I have to say that I did almost no writing in 2012. And I'm alright with that because I'm back on the horse.

I know eventually I will want to move to a larger hub, such as New York or the west coast to explore more opportunities and establish a home base.

I have been running a lot. I did my first half-marathon in November of 2011, my first marathon in January of 2012. I've done 4 marathons total, am doing my first Ragnar at the end of October, and will be running the Boston marathon in 2015. When I'm not running, I love to cook and try craft beer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Comedy, with regards to theatre. I kinda have a dry wit. I'm terribly irreverent. I enjoy sacrilegious humor particularly. Anything inappropriate. I am also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church Monastery. I did this for two reasons: 1) I thought it would be a hoot, and 2) I wanted to be able to officiate wedding ceremonies. And exorcisms. I have only done one so far....wedding ceremony. No exorcisms just yet.

I also love cooking. If I weren't working in theatre, I think it would be fun to go to culinary school and become a chef or something. I particularly love experimenting with sauces for pasta dishes, different types of soups, and quiches.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. They're quite blue. That would be my favorite thing about myself. People often comment that I am a fast walker.

I'm working in broad strokes here.

Books: The Whisper of the River, Catcher in the Rye, The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Pippi Longstocking, The Alchemist, Many Lives Many Masters, Seconds, Winesburg Ohio, Falling Angel, The Secret World of Og.

Movies: The original Star Wars trilogy, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, The Great Muppet Caper, Something's Gotta Give, When Harry Met Sally, The American President, The Usual Suspects, The Spanish Prisoner, Big Fish, The Edge, Air Force One, V for Vendetta, Anna to the Infinite Power, When a Stranger Calls Back, Clue, Blazing Saddles, History of the World Part One, the Harry Potter movies.....seriously, too many to name.

TV Shows: Buffy, Angel, The Twilight Zone (original), Big Bang Theory, Mr. Bean, Black Adder, Happy Endings, Law & Order: SVU, NCIS, Firefly, LOST, House of Cards and Doctor Who.

Music: Little bit of everything. Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Allen Masterton, Heather Friedman, Grace Askew, Corinne Lucy, Maroon 5, Chet Baker...many more.

Food: Pizza, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Sushi, all sorts, really. I love cooking for my vegetarian friends. Also a big beer and wine enthusiast. And Maker's Mark, though to be honest, I rarely drink bourbon or wine anymore.

I have become a bit of an NPR junkie. I really enjoy "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" and "Ask Me Another."
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends/Family
2. Good food
3. Running
4. Spices
5. Good beer
6. Laughter/Sex
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. The past. Time. Death. Why I'm here. What I would like to write next. Why I'm not writing. How to balance running and my desire to write/create. Sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Oftentimes, I'm performing in a show. Otherwise, probably hanging out with friends or family or something mundane. Love to cook. Love to go see movies when I have time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Whenever I go running, the most bizarre things go through my mind, ranging from fantastical ways that I might meet an untimely end to things that I might want to write about at a later date.

In my next life I want to be British.
