My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I got my Master's in London and have traveled from Athens to Zurich, but honestly, I'm a California girl through and through. I'm living in the Peninsula, and excited to be back and explore my homestate. On my list: go wine-tasting, make it to Yosemite one day, and discover tucked-away neighborhoods in the city.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m absolutely crazy about the ancient Mediterranean. From working on exhibitions about Pompeii and polychrome sculpture to researching millennia-old gems in museums across the country, I want to educate others about the treasures of Classical civilizations. Right now, I’m working on an archival project at Stanford, digitizing and researching their Greek and Roman slide collection.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing tour guide in art museums.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
...is that I'm very put-together. That, and my insanely curly hair!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Authors: Aeschylus, Virgil, Sappho, Euripides, Spanish lang. poems and short stories (Neruda, Lorca, Cortazar), Dostoevsky, and Damon Galgut's In A Strange Room.

Movie: Hable con ella.

Music: Gaga and Hilary Hahn. Currently obsessed with the new Daft Punk album.

Food: Flourless chocolate cake and generally anything Italian.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
ESPN
My chef's knife
Perfume
A really good cappuccino
Earplugs
Rome
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to cook next! I'm making my way through a cookbook and am almost at the 100 recipe mark.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hitting the gym, hopefully not wreaking havoc in the kitchen, and hanging with my best friends over a glass of wine- I usually prefer white but recently we opened a bottle of Petite Verdot that really blew me away. If the occasion calls for it, I can go out on the town, but generally, I tend to be a low-key girl.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I learned to knit this year, and I'm obsessed. Reading a pattern is like learning a new language, and my inner fashionista revels in actually creating clothes. Despite the senior citizen association, not much makes me happier than whipping up something fabulous to give to a friend.

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don’t have to love Almodóvar films, be an Italophile, or have kickass culinary competence to write me. It would help if you loved the Lakers, but I’d overlook allegiance to even the Celtics if you have a vibrant passion to which you bring brimming enthusiasm in what you do or how you live.

If you want to share with me what makes you tick and you are curious about the world, message me! PLEASE don't send me one-liners asking me how my Monday is going, simply saying "hey," or introducing yourself by name-- I really want to get to know you instead of getting a terse message.
