My self-summary
There is a lot to say. I'm a Libertarian (and yes... most tests are convinced I'm Republican) socially liberal, fiscally conservative, I'm against the anti drug-war. Wish the government would stay out of my pocket repeal 90% of the stupid laws they've shoved down our throats that aren't needed. They need to get rid of the IRS and support the fair tax.

I'm a writer, writing mainly fantasy fiction, often with a twist of sci-fi added somewhere in the story. I hope to be a professional writer, but in the mean time I'm working towards building my real estate empire. I'm a cat friend (recently lost one of my old ones after 15 years of friendship.) I love driving and travel I'm an avid cyclist. My friends tease me that I'm becoming hardcore as regards to cycling. The truth of the matter is, that I lust after a Greenspeed Trike. If I get one of those, then I will be a hardcore cyclist. But I'll have three wheels and go 35 miles per hour.

I enjoy talking to people, even strangers. I'm not actively looking for a relationship. If one happens then fine, but I'm not looking for one unless it falls in my lap. I'm Pagan. This is not an invitation to proselytize me. I would never dream of telling you that something terrible is going to happen to you because of what you believe. Please don't do that to me. Faith is very personal.

I like it when people write messages in English instead of Leet. I'm sure you understand that the word U does not adequately represent you. And also really is not spelled 'reli' That's just lazy--really-- we're talking about TWO letters here. I speak English, Spanish less than fluently, and Japanese only well enough to be polite for a few pleasantries before switching to English. I'm still learning this beautiful language

One more thing: I think that Asian men can be just HOT... I don't know why. My friends sometimes tease me about it, (they are not being racist, mind you... just teasing me because I can't explain what it is that attracts me.) I can't help it. I don't even know why.

I am vivacious, energetic, and effervescent
What I’m doing with my life
I hope to be a professional writer, but in the mean time I'm working towards building my real estate empire. At the moment I'm on the mend from a pretty serious car accident. Almost there. I'm physically mended. Now I'm trying to repair the financial damage. It's opened my eyes to the fact that I need to be more prepared for emergencies. As a result I'm selling my house becuase it takes too much of my resource. Once it's sold, I'll buy another one that a) costs less. or b) is income producing in it's own right (like a double where I can live in one side and rent out the other.) That will be the beginning of my real estat empire. It's time I had something more coming in than just one source.
I’m really good at
I like to sing, and I'm pretty good at it. I don't have a beautiful voice. Acknowledging that, I do know how to use the voice I have, and have done professional recording and performing. I believe (because I have been told so by professionals on the writing critique group to which I subscribe) that I write well. I am really good at riding my bike, especially if the weather is fine.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. Definitly my smile. After that, my natural energy, and my ability to see the good in almost all things, even if they are things I really don't like.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Rather than books, let's talk about authors. For example Anne McCaffrey and her whole Pern series. The only book by James Clavell I didn't care for was Whirlwind, and that was more because I found it harder to follow because the era and location didn't hold my interst as much as say 'Shogun' or 'Taipan' did, and the characters in my opinion were not as interesting. It goes without saying that I love Tolkien, and hate what Christopher has been doing to JRR's work tearing it apart and analysing it, showing earlier sketches of his writing and comparing it to the final drafts. Ugh if my kid did that with my work to make a buck, I'd haunt her. I also enjoy Melanie Rawn, and the Dragon Prince and Dragon Star series. There are so many more that merit mention: John Jakes, Christopher Paolini, Larry Niven, Michelle Perry.

Movies... erm... Well, I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings. That was really well done. Other faves include The Time Machine, Equilibrium, Pirates of the Carribean... (wow... all three of those have Klaus Badelt scores... imagine that) Edward Scissorhands, Star Wars, Star Trek, Beast Master, The Patriot... I could go on and on, so I'll just shut up.

My taste in Music is so ecclectic that it would be impossible to list all the stuff I like. It ranges from Classical like Mozart, and New Age such as David Arkenstone, right through the genres to Modern Rock, with Mudvayne, Lincoln Park etc., Alternative like Cranberries, Greenday, and even Punk bands, for instance Dead Kennedies, Skinny Puppy, and Suicidal Tendancies to name a few. Oh we must not forget Japanese pop music like Ayumi Hamasaki. Love that stuff. Now having said that... It would be much easier to just list what is generally UNacceptible in my ears. I don't like hardcore rap, and I don't like Country. There are exceptions of course, but they are few and far between. I'm afraid that I find both genres either offensive or stupid or both.

My favorite food is sushi... dragon roll and unagi in general are top of the list. Various sashimi are also way up there. I like Japanese food in general. I never thought I would like eel... so imagine my surprise when it rose straight to the top of my food chain the first time I had it. I will try almost any food once. I'm not squeamish as long as it's food. I also enjoy Chinese food. Actually, I'm a big prononent of ethnic food in general, and if I was asked which variety of ethnic food I could do with out if I had to eliminate one, I'm sorry to say it would be "American" food that I would sacrifice. Second to go I thing would be Indian food, but even then there are things that I will enjoy, so if my friends who like Indian food want to have some, I'm game. I can find something edible and even enjoyable.

The six things I could never do without
Meat (you veggie people just back off, I'm an Atkins girl!) Companions/Friends (includes small companions/friends aka pets) My Laptop My Car (it was horrible being without a car after the accident even though I wasn't able to drive for a month...) Writing Video Games
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My book. I really do. I drive for a living, so on a long drive, I often spend time planning scenes in my head. I also work out problems during that time. Not saying that I dwell on them. Just that I try to spend the time working out solutions, and if I can't come up with one, or it starts to become nothing but worrying, then I put it on the shelf and think about something else.
On a typical Friday night I am
It depends. Sometimes I'm out with friends, sometimes in with friends, sometimes just sitting here at home with my little friends (cats) writing. I don't really have a typical Friday night, or any other night actually.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Eh... I sometimes fantasize about my own characters. There are at least a couple that I SO wish I could write them out of the pages and into my life. ^_^
