My self-summary
My name is Iso. Im a forager and chef. I run my own business called forageSF. I do underground dinners with wild foraged food, and used to run an event called The Underground Market (which will hopefully open up again soon. I like to hunt wild boar, abalone dive, write, read cook books (and try my best to read a book every once in a while that's not about food). I work a lot, and most of the things I do for fun have something to do with food, which is my work. I try to focus my work around what interests me, so when I'm working, I'm also doing what I love.
What I’m doing with my life
See above. My next big project is building out an incubator kitchen to help small businesses get their start. These days I'm organizing a bunch of events around that goal.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mostly cookbooks these days. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, author of River Cottage, is my personal hero. I read a good amount of non-fiction, but try to fit in a fiction book now and then. Big 30 rock fan, have watched the entire battlestar gallactica series (I know, I know, its a space soap opera, but you have to watch it! You'll be obsessed.)

Usually working an event, or drinking with friends, reading, or watching documentaries about the ocean.

I have a reminder set on my phone every day to say "enjoy it", so I don't forget to enjoy what I do.
