I'm pretty lucky to have seen quite a few places, but there's always somewhere new on my list. Hoping to gain a travel partner for more ideas, as long as it doesn't involve a cruise ship... Thailand or Brazil perhaps? I love learning about the local culture and being by water. Boating, jet-skiing, and even fishing. (You'll just have to bait the hook for me...)
Holidays with the fam are pretty loud and if you don't end up with a fridge full of leftovers, you didn't make enough food. (It's the unwritten Italian code.) By the end of the night, you'll probably lose some money from Texas holdem or in-between. (And by "you", I mean me. I've won big-ish twice. Ever.)
I'm a bit of a foodie, so I like to check out new and interesting places around town. Set me up with a good dirty martini with blue cheese olives after a rough day and I'm a happy girl! I also have a sweet (sour?) spot for sour patch kids, trivia and yoga. I've been called a walking encyclopedia (remember those?), full of random info no one would ever need (or want) to know.
I grew up in the northern suburbs, but I still get a kick out of taking random tours around the city and learning something new every time. (The ghost and architecture tours are my favorites!) I also love getting ideas from Groupon or getting recs from random people/friends... Here's one for you. Have you done the trapeze at Belmont harbor? You can thank me later. :)
Lookin' for a guy that is confident enough not care too much about what other people think, and can roll with the punches. One that is family oriented, silly, and is looking for something long term. Life is way too short, so I'm looking for someone that is happy in their career (or at least working towards it), and will laugh with me to tears over stupid stuff. I rarely say no to try new things and hoping you're the same. I love to check out ball games, farmers markets, concerts, tailgates (I'm surprisingly good at flip cup), etc, but (full disclosure) my days of 4am afterbars are behind me.
Excited to meet you!
