Hi everyone! I have no idea what to say here.

I think this is part where I'm supposed to tell you how I'm not like all the other guys. This is where I tell you how indie I am and how I like movies by Rodriguez and Tarantino--which I do--and listen to things like Modest Mouse and Minus the Bear--which I do--and how I'm so amazing and I'm so fun to hang out with--which I am--and that I'm the most trustworthy, outgoing, ridiculously good-looking--that's probably a bit of a stretch, but I'm gonna run with it--guy on the planet, but...

Nah, I'll skip it. You can figure all that out later.

I have a good job, I'm trying to finish school, I have some of the coolest roommates ever... that's it mostly. :)

I also have an ex-girlfriend that wants to kill me because--KIDDDDIIINNGG!! I'm so totally kidding~ She actually only enjoys terrorizing people I date. :)

Iunno. I like to play my drums a lot lately. Since I moved into an apartment I had to get an electronic set, but I kept my acoustic set just because.

Cuddling? I think that's a pretty awesome talent, but some people aren't impressed. :(

Shogun by James Clavell is an amazing book. It was recently brought to my attention that some other people my age--she knows who she is--actually have favorite books by Jerry Spinelli, like Maniac Magee. If you're at a 5th grade reading level and can spare a few bucks I promise it's worth it.

I like a lot of music. I mostly listen to indie/rock/hardcore/trance, but I can listen to anything.

To give you an idea, here are some bands I like in no particular order--I just clicked randomize playlist on my music player and jotted down some artists:
Sky Eats Airplane, Anomie, Death Cab for Cutie, Azure Ray, Pete Yorn, The American Analog Set, Band of Horses, Ben's Imaginary Band, Thursday, Syd Matters, Colour Revolt, NUMBER GIRL, Cursive, The Cure, The Fall of Troy, Les Savy Fav, Anathallo, Desaparecidos, and Joan of Arc

Sometimes I listen to ska music, like the Japanese band Ska Ska Club.

Oh.. and post-rock. Let's not forget God is an Astronaut, Mogwai, Caspian, Moving Mountains, The Appleseed Cast, and This Will Destroy You. And newer folk or alt-country.. I love Deer Tick. :)

There are plenty of great movies, but I can be really critical. Movies for me are probably more about enjoying the good company of the person I watch them with. Since some of you were curious, here are a few of my favorites:
Groundhog Day, Last Life in the Universe, Lost in Translation, Léon the Professional, Jacob's Ladder, The Big Lebowski, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ichi the Killer, Slumdog Millionaire, and pretty much anything with Christian Bale in it or directed by Takashi Miike. Sometimes I just need a comedy, like Big Daddy or Hot Rod.

There are lots of movies I guess, but I'll stop there. I actually tend to like movies that have little plot, but lots of amazing cinematography.

Chicken, pizza, Americanized Chinese food, and ice cream.. yep.

If we exclude anything vital and go ahead and assume we all ready have things like food and shelter and even assume we have a car, and I absolutely had to pick 5 other things that I really love even though they aren't actually necessary and man this sentence is really long I wonder how many words I could cram in here before you give up and stop reading, I think they would be...
* iPod for my tunes
* XBOX 360 for movies and games
* Laptop because it's my job and I love it
* Drumset
* Freedom :)

How to get into trouble... or out of trouble... whichever is applicable.

Outside or inside.. probably with my friends doing something stupid, illegal, or both.

Or we're just hanging out watching movies... we like to live dangerously.
