My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright, well let's just start this autobiography with what I'm not. I'm not a loser who lives at home with his mom and wants everything to be handed to him so that he doesn't have to work a single day in his life. I'm not from a wealthy family-I've had to work for everything I've ever had in my lifetime. I'm not a psychotic creeper looking for my next stalk. I'm also not someone who puts too much stock in what anybody thinks of me.

What I am is a single guy who's living in an area he's unfamiliar with. I've been here for under 2 years and don't have a lot of connections outside of the workplace. I'm not desperate for a girlfriend or a soul-mate, I'm just looking for someone to try to be happy with. It's just that simple. I'm a very old-fashioned guy-some people confuse it with chauvinism. I don't use words like hot or sexy, I try to do sweet things for no good reason, and unless you race me to a door (and win), I will be holding it open for you. One other thing to note about me: I'm pretty much always happy. Even if I have absolutely no reason to be, I'm smiling. It something that's been pointed out to me a lot recently. I'd really like to meet someone who can be goofy and adorable, but isn't entirely immature. (Still hoping that's a possibility.)

If you're reading this because I messaged you, I apologize for my lack of intelligent messaging skills. I'm not really huge on this whole getting to know people over the internet thing. I know that seems contradictory considering I'm on a dating website, but even though I may not be convinced this is the way to go or even remotely useful, it's worth a shot. I spend 33% of my week at work, 33% sleeping, and I'm not prepared to go bar hopping with the other 33% to try to find a significant other.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently joined the Air Force as a scientific applications specialist (which is a non-deployable career field). I'm hoping to either make a career out of it or go through one of the many doors it should open for me outside the military. Currently, I'm working on finishing up my associates and trying to get started on pre-requisites for the Physician's Assistant commissioning program.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Backyard football
Certain video games

Oddly enough, my eyelashes.. They're very long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read any and everything by Ted Dekker. Major bonus if you have read him.
Movies: I love Disney movies, Les Miserables is my favorite musical(and it was before Hollywood recreated it).
Shows: Well I grew up watching boy meets world, it was my favorite show for a long time. Now I watch pretty much anything that looks interesting on Netflix. I've recently binge watched Fringe, How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, and I'm currently watching The X-Files (Yes, I know it's almost as old as I am) My favorite show though would definitely have to be Doctor Who.
Music: I like any music but rap, but I've been on a major country kick lately.
Food: I'm typically a steak and potato kinda guy I guess, but who could say no to a good pizza?
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can further myself in the world, mainly college getting back into college classes to try to get to the PA program.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either hanging out with a few close friends here on base or just getting back to my hometown and seeing my family or some old friends. Maybe playing some cornhole or going out to the little bar down the road to play some pool.

That I didn't realize that I was messaging people on here with my profile saying that I was seeing someone (I've been single for like 7 months). Made me feel like a bit of a dirt bag.
