I am laid back, music-loving, and funny.
My Self-Summary
I'm a laid back, intelligent, funny guy looking for a cool,
intelligent, down-to-earth girl of substance. And by substance I
mean a girl who has more interests in life than the latest reality
TV show or what Britney Spears just got arrested for. We all have
our guilty pleasures, just prefer a girl who can talk about
something other than TMZ. Someone who has a big heart, self respect
and can see the good in people without being naive.
Love going to shows, Phils or Eagles games, whatever's fun.
What I’m doing with my life
Usually something involving a combination of these things: Good
friends. Good conversation. Good music. Good food. Good drink. Good
tickets. As for the other 80% of life, working as an editor and
part time bartender. Life's pretty good, just missing a certain
someone.
I’m really good at
Besides writing, designing, recommending good music and having a
good time, I have the pretty amazing gift of being able to
pre-judge someone by the kind of music they listen to. Sounds
horrible, I know, but seriously, I'm deadly accurate. It's all in
good fun, and almost worth me missing out on the 10 percent of the
population I wrongly mistake for being Nickelback fans.
The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently I have beautiful eyes. Who am I to disagree?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a) "Count of Monte Cristo" (Dumas), "Chronicles" (Bob Dylan)
b) The Sting, Old School, Big Lebowski, Anchorman, Hangover, a
bunch of others I don't feel like remembering.
c) My current top 10, although it changes often (except the top 4):
The Beatles,
Bob Dylan,
Wilco,
Oasis,
The Rolling Stones,
Bruce
Springsteen,
The Grateful Dead,
The Verve,
Old Crow
Medicine Show and the
Avett Brothers are at the
top.
d) it's all good, except for beets. I've tried, just don't dig 'em.
The six things I could never do without
my mind
family/friends
my iPod
laughter
cheese
guitar
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why people are the way they are. Music. What I'm doing or not doing
with my life. Baseball (yeah, I'm a baseball geek). Where you are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully having some good beer/wine with good friends and good
music playing in the background.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My second concert was Amy Grant. Yeah, pretty embarrassing. Almost
as embarrassing as my most private thing.
You should message me if
You're intelligent, enjoy good conversation, are drama-free, cute,
have a good sense of humor, don't take yourself too too seriously
and are into music. Sanity a big plus.
