My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Country-cottage dwelling, city-traveler seeks equally eclectic man for fun conversation and potential co-adventure....

I love a great day of wind on the water, good friends, great food and the simple things. I drive a Jeep and live in a log cabin in, what used to be, the woods.

But I also have some great heels, and like to put on a dress and catch a show in town, have a superb meal and fine wine.

I love live music- especially the blues and classic rock. Dancing is a fun way to keep moving, too.

Travel is a huge part of my life and I love that my work takes me around the nation. I am fortunate to own my own commercial photography business and have a career that I love.

The man I would be most interested in would be a strong, manly-man kind of guy. He would love the outdoors, be kind, with a generous sense of humor. If he likes music and likes to dance, major bonus!

If you are in my age group and in the Austin vicinity and think we might have some things in common, please write to say 'hi'. I really do not date men in their 20's and 30's. Thanks, I am flattered, but my kids are in that range.

Thanks and best of luck to all the searchers out there. I believe there is someone for everyone.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a commercial photographer has brought me a lot of career happiness as well as great travel opportunities. I don't work locally and have a huge national market. I am fortunate that I love what I do. Travel is a part of my gig and I travel about every four weeks for one or two weeks. Gone just long enough for you to miss me or come out and see me.... ;-)

My smile, eyes and my energy or so I am told. After that, warmth and sense of humor.

I love comedies, mysteries, movies mostly on DVD or Netflix, music- the blues, food, eat healthy but would love to be bad on occasion- like a semi-monthly hamburger or pizza. Monthly enchiladas may be in order, too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

There is no such thing as a 'typical Friday night'. I will either stay in with a good book, go play in the lake, listen to live music, watch a movie, bbq with friends, have a massage, theater, karaoke, sailing, who the heck knows what the day will bring
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

You should message me if you are a smart, kind guy with a sense of humor who likes the water and music.

And you would like to meet a fun, (mostly) sane woman who has a great big heart and a well developed, far-side sense of humor.
