My Self-Summary
I can not believe I have one of these but here I am creating one...
I guess there is a first time for everything I suppose. I am
currently studying dance and art history. I am training to give
tours of the exhibitions over at Wexner Center and I am passionate
about the work I do at my other art gallery, Urban Arts Space. The
arts keep me sane and keep life interesting. I thrive while banging
on my drum set and I think that there is nothing more amazing than
seeing Live Jazz. I am obsessed with all things 1969 - 75 as well
as clove cigarettes. A favorite past time of mine is renting 10 or
more films from the library and then never having enough time to
watch them all and then getting extreme late fees.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently a Junior at OSU, studying Dance and History of Art.
After school I hope to get out of the US for a long while or maybe
permanently. I would like to spend sometime after graduation
volunteering abroad at a Womens Shelter in India.
I’m really good at
Dance improvisation. Taking intensely long showers. Being a good
listener while at the same time talking your ear off.
The first things people usually notice about me
My legs. They are really long and I love them. My friends joke that
I do not have a torso... just legs.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Brett Easton Ellis, Isabelle Allende, short stories by
Haruki Murakami, Pablo Neruda, Lewis Carrol.
Movies: The Dreamers is my favorite movie of all time. I also enjoy movies by Ingmar Bergman and Jean Luc Goddard. Annie Hall is a favorite as well.
Music: Miles Davis Kind of Blue is the sexiest most beautiful album of all time. Count Bass-D, MF Doom, Broadcast, The Books, Talking Heads, The Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Beirut, Neil Young.
