Hi. I'm Zach. I'm a a marathoner, craft beer enthusiast, and science fiction nerd.

I ran my first marathon last June and am training for my second in May, so that takes up a lot of my time. I typically plan my days around when I can get my daily run in.

I like to travel, although until recently I haven't had much time to do so. I'm hoping to get to see quite a bit of the country this year, including a trip to Hawaii in August.

I work full time at FedEx Ground doing a variety of administrative tasks to make sure you all get your packages delivered on time. Basically that involves fixing broken equipment and looking up addresses. I know it doesn't sound super exciting, but I like my job and am happy there for the moment.

I admit I watch too much TV. Favorites are: Breaking Bad, The Simpsons, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, 30 Rock, Louie, Lost, Futurama, and a lot more.

I mostly listen to Indie Rock and some other weird shit. Favorite bands: The National, Beck, Pink Floyd, Spoon, Minus the Bear, Mogwai, Nada Surf, M83, Wolf Parade, Foals, Dinosaur Jr., etc.

Favorite authors: Philip K Dick, Jerry Pournelle, David Weber, Larry Niven, Iain M. Banks, Neal Stephenson, Jon Swartzwelder, Joseph Heller. I'm always reading something. It's usually science fiction, but I occasionally venture out into other genres.

I love to cook and try new foods and restaurants. I make a pretty mean home made pizza from scratch and I've been home brewing beer for the last six years. There's something about cooking and brewing that really appeals to the creative and scientific parts of me.

Usually the next big thing I want to do or place I want to go. I spend a lot of time traveling to visit friends in nearby cities and like make the most of the time I get to spend away from home. I'm hoping to run more marathons in the near future, as that's a great way to see a city in a different way.

Fridays I usually go out with friends. Or stay up late playing video games. Or just watch TV and read. Sometimes I spend all night driving across the country. I guess there's no typical Friday night.

You'd like to spend spend time with a fitness oriented, nerdy guy :)
