My life is about experience, good or bad, sad or elated, thinking that "this one might kill me" or awed by unexpected beauty, and finding a way to have a sense of humor about all of it. Your life is the stories you have to tell, and I'm hell bent on having some good ones.
I love the outdoors, skier, snowboarder, climber, and mt biker. I've hiked Everest Base Camp, climbed a 19,000 ft glacier in an ice storm, and gotten lost in the jungle for 12 hours, etc etc. This is important because activities often shape my free time and I'd like to meet someone who has at least some similar interests.
I think I am different than "most girls" for whatever that's worth.
Here's the 'Why' (and you can skip this part if you don't give a rat's ass why I'm here, I won't be offended) - I have always had boyfriends, from the age of 17 to the age of 29, four serious relationships to be exact, without much time in between. After moving back to NYC a couple years ago. I found myself single for the first time, ever. This was FUN for about a year, but now I'm over it (one night stands and such became quickly boring to me). And I am ready for a relationship of some sort. Whether it is a casual one or a serious one depends on many factors, but I think you will find I am open to many situations if approached openly and honestly.
I am on this site because there are SO MANY people in NYC, that when you do meet someone it is often fleeting, with no reason to see them again, or indication that you will. Recently I've found it rare that I get to know men who meet 3 seemingly simple criteria: I like you, I want to make out with you, and you are not married or otherwise unavailable. So, voila, here I am.
