My life has been full of experiences that have been equally amazing, educational, and extremely difficult, and I find that a sense of humor about ALL of it is imperative. There is not much I can't find some way to laugh about, even if not right away. Your life is the stories you have to tell, and I'm hell bent on having some good ones.
I love the outdoors and am an avid skier, snowboarder, climber, and mt biker. I've hiked Everest Base Camp and climbed a 19,000 ft glacier in an ice storm. This is important because these activities often shape my free time and I'd like to meet someone who has at least some similar interests.
I think I am not like "most girls".
And now for The 'Why' (and you can skip this part if you don't give a rat's ass why I'm here, I won't be offended) - I have always had boyfriends, from the age of 17 to the age of 28, four serious relationships to be exact, without much time in between. After moving back to NYC in 2009 I found myself single for the first time, ever. This was FUN for about a year, but now I'm over it (one night stands and such become boring fast). And I am ready for a relationship of some sort. Whether it is a casual one or a serious one depends on many factors, but I think you will find I am open to most situations if approached correctly and honestly.
I am on this site because there are SO many people in NYC, I find it rare that I encounter men who meet 3 seemingly simple criteria: I like you, I want to make out with you, and you are not married or otherwise unavailable. So, voila, here I am.
