It's kenners! I'm a "mainstream nerd" (read: I code while watching football games). I try to keep several projects/activities going at once, but I am changing direction all the time. I find myself drawn to things that are puzzling and interesting.

I finally got myself out of undergrad, and for now I'm working extremely hard at a demanding and rewarding rocketship factory. No, seriously.

Dissecting situations. Tech things. Figuring out how stuff works. Having conversations on subjects I know nothing about. Breaking the ice. Telling jokes that make no sense.

In a group setting, I come across as hyperactive / energetic. Also, I type really fast.

TV: Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Archer FX, CSI Vegas, NCIS, Justified, Mentalist, SouthLAnd, Person of Interest... It changes every season.

Movies: Children of Men, Inception, Inside Man, Bourne Identity, random TNT classics, IFC James Bond marathons.

Music: A mix of electronic, hip hop, indie and alternative rock. I leave music around the house like other people leave clothes.
Mutemath, Machinedrum, Imogen Heap, Zero 7, Pendulum, M83, Dishwalla, Tool, Puscifer, Yoko Kanno (and the Seatbelts!).

Books/Authors: William Gibson (Blue Ant or cyberpunk), Neal Stephenson, Game of Thrones, Lev Grossman's The Magicians, Lee Child, Kurt Vonnegut, Asimov, Crichton.

Food: A giant fan of the sandwich in all forms, and definitely addicted to french fries. I've been trying to ditch the fast food lifestyle entirely, but french fries may be my Achilles' heel.

Smartphone - it's my knowledge base, my map, and my jukebox
The ability to drive - I love driving down city streets; it gives me inspiration and helps me make decisions
Family - they're always around when things go sideways, to help me straighten up
A proper bed - because repurposing couches and car seats never ends well
Supermarkets - I don't think I would last long on a farm
