My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am not here to cast the widest net or look for attention, I'm here to potentially meet my ilk. I like to think of myself as authentic, I don't fall for trends or peer pressure. I enjoy intimate conversations and relationships that allow me and the other person to open up and discover ourselves and ideas. I am an HSP introvert and if you know what that is, that's a good start :) I recently discovered my love of travel and for my first trip I went to to France the Summer of 2013 (I was studying history at SDSU and was inspired to finally make it happen) . During my first trip to France I discovered my love of rare books, I was already a bibliophile but buying my first rare book at Shakespeare & Company sparked a passion for me. Since then I have been to Ireland (my forever dream), Italy and back to France! While I am an HSP introvert I am also quite adventurous, spontaneous, and friendly. In one turn I am perfectly happy at home with my cats and books and the next I'm throwing myself out into the world. I love to travel, read, craft, cook, write, among a variable of other things that spark my fancy at any given time. I am a bibliophile and if I am not reading a book I am experimenting with re-purposing them (making jewelry and art).

Alexander Smith, a spasmodic poet and author of one of my favorite books "Dreamthorp" (and author of the line that leads Guy Montag into the rabbit hole of bibliophilia and questioning the system "Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine."), sums up my approach to interpersonal relationships.... "If a person is worth knowing, they are worth knowing well."

My "personality" and "Tests" portions on this site are disturbingly accurate...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently graduated SDSU with a BA in History which I loved and miss. I believe in an autodidactic pursuit in continuing education so I am in love with the Yale series of courses online (watching French History Since 1870!) and attending open lectures (most recently a Suds and Science event where the Rueben H. Fleet Science Center holds science lectures at breweries!). Currently I'm a legal secretary at an Intellectual Property Law Firm and am working on building my own rare books and bookish crafts business on the side. Next up is my next trip to include England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Paris, and Northern France (I cannot wait for the Bernina Express!). I also spend my spare time researching and pricing rare books at the library aka my favorite days :)

Eventually I would love a tiny house/off-the-grid life...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the one spot in a crowded place where no one else is. I'm also a surprisingly good dancer ;p
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am told I have a sweet smile and those more bold would say my derriere

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I put it like this, from neurons to space and all the bits between that I can try to wrap my brain around.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am with my cats and a glass of wine watching a movie, reading, crafting, writing, sitting in silence and thinking lol Though this is not always the case (I enjoy going out to dinner, hh/breweries, comedy clubs, concerts etc) it is my favorite. To some this may be considered boring but that's ok, I'm here to find my ilk and they know ;)
