My self-summary
Made in Canada but raised in Barbados and Toronto; still trying to keep that small island mindset in this big city hustle.

Living my life while meeting new people, having new experiences, and all that stuff. Gonna try to keep it up and see where it takes me.
What I’m doing with my life
Spending my day to day as a Computer Technician and Consultant.
I spend my off time trying to stay in shape practising Muay Thai and exercising, and a mix of games, tv shows, reading, hanging out with friends, finding cool places and events in the city, and "doing stuff".
I’m really good at
Fixing stuff through tenacity (read: stubbornness) and ingenuity, giving good advice that I can't seem to follow myself, and solving problems.
I've also got geek prowess at the vidya games; challengers are welcome, but will be put in their place.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically? My height and my dreads being the most obvious, and also, I've been told, my smile.

Other than that I've been told, I'm friendly, straightforward, and have a habit of dry wit and sarcasm, which I'm pretty sure is code for being obnoxious.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Is it a list? Or a test of self control?

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire (series), American Gods, Good Omens, Things Fall Apart, Horns, Small Gods; Graphic Novels like The Walking Dead, Saga, Locke and Key (this one's really good), 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man

Movies: Se7en, Ronin, In The Heat of The Night, Aliens, John Carpenter's The Thing, The Magnificent Seven, Pulp Fiction, Django: Unchained, Looper, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Memento, A History of Violence, Dark City

Shows: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad (I'll miss you ;_;), Arrested Development, Person of Interest, Criminal Minds, Luther, Community, Being Human, Hannibal, Fringe, Dexter.
True Detective (this is one hell of a show), and Almost Human are impressing me so far this season.

Music: Rap, Hip-hop, R&B, Grime, Drum&Bass and House mostly, but I'll listen to anything with a good beat and/or lyricist.
Outside of those I've got a soft spot for Radiohead, The Black Keys, and the Killers.

Food: All types! Might give a bit of a edge to Japanese, Italian and Greek but I'll try anything, with only a few exceptions.
The six things I could never do without
The internet, music, my cell phone, a good book, exercise, good food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm going to figure out the next "problem" I have to deal with; work, personal, imaginary or otherwise. More practical than existential most of the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends for a pint when I can, but I'm not above a quiet Friday night. Whatever the mood suits.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not a fan of ice cream; Just don't care for it. Seriously, the world's supply could run out tomorrow and it wouldn't bother me none.
Does that make me a monster?
