Under construction....I try to live and let live, so I don’t get along with extremely judgmental types or those who are proudly locked into their own point of view. That said, I use the word ‘try’ deliberately because sometimes it’s a struggle. But I think the greatest personal growth comes from changing perspectives and attempting empathy.

I grew up in Vermont so I have a little bit of an outdoorsy streak. I like to hike, camp, swim in rivers, climb rocks...stuff like that. I've seen a decent amount of the world, though I hope to see more. Money isn't that important to me but style and atmosphere are. I love food. Spelling mistakes drive me crazy (but I'm not immune to them). I like word games and puzzles; numbers scare me. I can keep things light but I'm just as comfortable in the deep end.

I never needed a house key growing up and hate coming home to a locked door now.

I like kids a lot because I am the most myself around them. Everything is straightforward; if you smile at them they smile back. I also like adults like that.

When I reread all of this I think I'm dangerously close to coming off as "nice". I have an edge, and a sense of humor. Nuff said.

I'm a pediatric nurse and I'm working on my Masters to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. As I said, I like kids, but I'm not overly sentimental about them. Meaning, I don't constantly comment on how cute they are and I don't wear teddy bear scrubs.

On my days off I try to relax and do less serious things like hike, run, see movies, or just lie in the park and people watch. I've lived in Brooklyn for about 5 years and I'm happy here. I feel like my life is in a good place and I'd like to meet someone who's in the same boat.

Books - historical fiction, magical realism, short stories. I can't play favorites in this category, every book I've read is an old friend.
Food - don't like things with a slimy consistency like mushrooms or the tapioca balls in bubble tea.
