I'm originally from NYC and lived back in Manhattan for almost 10 years, but now in Boston for a change of scenery and (I hope!) more down-to-earth people! I like to play tennis, ping pong, dance, travel, hang out with my little nieces and nephew, watch Homeland and Dexter (although I'm not so sure about this last season--they're sorta losing me), and play with my dog. I love being by the water, and I look forward to trading my run/walk around the Central Park reservoir for a run/walk along the Charles. And, as a side note, since I'm moving to a new place where I know very few people, I'm also interested in friendships that may or may not develop over time into something more. I think internet dating can create a lot of unnecessary pressure to decide whether you want a future with someone based on just two drinks.

According to a recent email from a friend: "You need a guy who is down for a warm weather vacation and is thrilled to have found someone who plays tennis. It's not unreasonable." Truthfully, I need a little more than that, but that's a good start.
