I am introspective, caring, and I love animals.

My Self-Summary

Following are some random thoughts I have.

*I am interested in how what we eat and think affects our physical body. I find this fascinating. It's amazing to me that thinking positive thoughts can cure illness.

*My main pet peeve is probably arrogance. Drives me mad. I like when people are humble.

*When watching a movie, I don't like anything that has too much action or violence. Scares me too much.

*I love talking about feelings.

*I am pretty liberal in my politcal beliefs, but am not a political junky by any means.

*As far as who I am attracted to physically, it's usually girls who are more feminine or androgynous. I kind of consider myself the same. I usually wear jeans or a skirt and a cotton shirt.

*Buddhism resonates with me. Every time I go to meditations, I get so much out of them.

*I'm an introvert at work for sure, but I like hanging out with friends for sure too.

*I think that some people just click and some people just don't, and it's no one's fault. I just get a vibe from people, and some people I connect with, as friends or more, and some people I don't. I feel like the only way to really know is by talking, and if dating is involved, then meeting in person because you can't really tell who you are attracted to physically until you meet, even if there are pictures.

*I am trying the online dating thing because I just feel like I see the same people over and over again around town, and don't feel like I really ever meet a lot of new people.

*I listen mostly to country music. Outing myself about this is sometimes a struggle for me.

*I love to laugh, but who doesn't really.

*I am very into equality in relationships.

What else? I don't know. If you feel like it, email me. I love to meet new people.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a statistician for the federal government. It sounds lame to most people, but I really like my job.

I’m really good at

I love numbers, so I think I am ok at working with data. What else? Hmmm. I have a dog, and think I am a pretty good mom to my dog.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. Probably my eyes. That's what people seem to comment on most. Also, I have a high pitched voice (I sound like I'm 12.).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Hmm. I like pretty much any vegetarian food. I love to eat. My favorite movie is probably "Rent." It's depressing at moments, but makes me want to take advantage of every day. Favorite book- gosh I don't know. I just finished reading "In Defense of Food" which was really good. I also really liked the book "The Art of Happiness."

The six things I could never do without

Hmm. This is a hard one. I don't know about "never doing without," but six things I really enjoy are: chatting with friends, food, the woods (they are very calming to me), email, curling up in bed with a good book on a raining day, and playing board games and cards.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend too much time planning the future and should focus more of my attention on the present.

On a typical Friday night I am

I usually am hanging out with friends, going out to eat, fixing something in the house, or just staying in and watching a movie or t.v.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I can't think of anything.
