My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Good hello, I guess you're here to to read the social stylings and awkwardness of well me, Shawn. What can I say, am I the sum of all my parts, what of my unconscious self? I am something of an introvert, but once comfortable I can let my extrovert side out. You could say I am a true Gemini. I like to think of my self as clever. I also think in the grey. I believe black and white thinking to be close minded. Apparently I am from Ireland. On numerous occasions in my life I have been told by Massachusetts natives that I talk with an Irish accent after a few drinks. I have no idea what these people are talking about, it's a run on joke that's been going on my entire adult life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am up to the arduous task of looking for a new apartment. I never had much luck with this task. Aside from that, I am looking for a relaxing job or something in tune with my interests or personality.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am really good at planning, just not so good at executing them. Licking my fingers while cooking and forgetting several minutes earlier I chopped up some Thai chili peppers. I make an excellent bloody mary. As soon as I make a batch of garlic infused vodka, my bloody marys will be next to perfect.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When it comes to my profile, I would have to say my atrocious punctuation. I also been told on numerous occasions that I have a nice smile and on a rare occasion I have been told I look like Ben Affleck, but I always thought I looked more like the comedian Harlond Williams.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Let's see I am more of a fan of authors then single books. I have read Hesse's Siddhartha more times then any other book. I also love the works Murakami, Kobo Abe. Slaughter House Five is probably my second most read book. William S Burroughs used to be my favorite writer. I also like the Castaneda series and Robert Anton Wilson has a singular wit. Philip K Dick, Hp lovecraft, Lullabies For Little Criminals. As for graphic novels or comic books to the layman, I absolutely love the works of Sam Kieth. Grant Morrison, Alan Moore and Frank Miller are some of my other favorites.

For movies I love the works of Cronenberg(videodrome) and David Lynch(lost highway). Argento's Suspiria is my favorite horror movie as of recent. Jean Pierre Jeunet, Woody Allen,Evangelion,Studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro), Dark Knight, Kung Fu, b movies, Ghost World, I Heart Huckabees.

For television there's Twin Peaks, Carnivale, Fringe, original Star Trek, Ranma 1/2, Batman, Justice League, Supernatural, The Tick, Monster(anime), Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, any David E Kelly (Boston Legal), Six Feet Under, Sherlock, Doctor Who, just about any HBO show, Walking Dead.

I can listen to most genres of music, but I focus more on avant-garde or Indie. Any Mike Patton (Bungle,Faith No More), Tom Waits,SC3, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Residents, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Dead Kennedy's, Public Image Ltd, Violent Femmes, Pixies, Blonde Redhead, Faun Fables, Eno, Boredoms, Nick Cave, Zappa,OoioO,Boredoms. I have been trying to improve my tastes with some classical and jazz as of recent, like John Cage and Ornett Coleman.

Food, I have yet to eat anything I dislike other then being prepared
wrongly. I love Asian food most notably Japanese and Thai. I love hummus, sushi, surprisingly Brussels sprouts.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Cellphone, if it weren't for Google maps I would probably be lost in a ditch and debating about gnawing off my foot to survive and not knowing my home is only a street over.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It all depends on how what I have done in the past week or plan to do over the weekend. Tonight being Friday I am spending it at home, but I am going to double feature at the Brattle tomorrow and a show at the Middle East the day after. I guess what I am saying is the day of the week is irrelevant to me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have asmr (auditory sensory meridian response). I zone out to an asmr video at least once a day, usually before bed or when I just want to relax. I am a INFJ.
