My self-summary
Screenwriting grad student. Ukulele aficionado. Sloth lover. Podcaster.

I like to still believe there is magic out there in the world. I don't want to become one of those jaded people. I still think the impossible might just be a little bit possible.

I'm a creative-type. I'm happy mostly always because I think it's much better to spend my life happy. I like connecting with others. People are fascinating! Sometimes I'm quiet, but mostly because I'm taking everything in. If a topic interests me though, I can be chatty.
What I’m doing with my life
Can be found drinking copious amounts of coffee while travelling about for various non-profit projects. Possibly also reading a book or singing while cooking up a new recipe. You won't get me to skydive.

I write for a magazine. Other than that, I'm working on a screenplay for grad school. It's a bit dark so that's kind of fun (and completely opposite of me).
I’m really good at
Writing really long e-mails and summaries of myself. Brevity has never been my strong point.

I'm good at Netflix binging. Also, trivia. My memory is ridiculous.

I have been told that my demeanor makes people feel comfortable around me.

The six things I could never do without
1. Coffee
2. Books and things I can write on
3. People I care about
4. My dogs
5. Comfortable shoes
6. Music and my ukuleles (I'm combining in this category. I'm fine with a little rule breaking.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Random things:
Does perfectionism inhibit creativity?
Is fear necessary?
What would the color green feel like if it had a texture?
How can two different colored kleenexes come out of the same box?
Why have detective movies fallen out of favor, and what could be done storyline-wise to bring them back? (Seriously if you have thoughts, let me know because I have a 10 page opinion paper to write on this!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with friends. A lot of writing and reading books. I'm not a party girl. I much prefer a low-key night.

Lately it's been watching an insane amount of movies. I have to watch at least 8 a week for school.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I had a Steve Urkel doll as a child.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 23–38
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to meet up to grab a coffee or beer, isn't that how this thing works? A meal is always cool too! No super loud bars because I get highly distracted, and want to be able to focus on who I'm with. If you have any other creative date ideas, tell me.
