My self-summary
I pride myself on my honesty and good-natured belief in myself and those around me. Ever the optimist, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and am forever finding qualities in people despite their shortcomings (we all have them, after all). Sometimes I try to people-please too much, but it's a work-in-progress.

I love people who: - are forward thinking and have a somewhat liberal mind regarding the world. - are spontaneous and a little mysterious - have both reserved and outlandish aspirations (yes, at the same time) - can see the ridiculousness of the world around them yet still make quips about topics that are seemingly all too serious.

I'm looking for: lovely bi/pan sexual person or persons that could integrate into a life with me and my incredible wife. passion_dancer and I are seeking harmonious, balanced, drama-free people, with which to build our polyamorous foundation. Our "couple" profile is poly-bi-couple, if you're interested further.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently (back) working at a Microsoft subsidiary in downtown Seattle. I'm also striving to become more involved in Voice-over work and Life Coaching, which is (at least right now) my passion. I'd love to do either of these for a living and hope to explore some opportunities and get out of the IT/Office drudgery.

I go to the gym about 3-4 days a week and practice Acro-Yoga and Fusion/Blues Dancing quite regularly.

In addition, I have finished building and now live in a 130 sq/ft tiny house to live in. Here are some progress pics!
I’m really good at
making people laugh (jokester at heart), holding doors for everyone, my impression of Hank Hill (among others), dancing to great music, getting lost in my own head for silly reasons... what was I typing again? Thanks ADD, you alwa...ooo how did this ding get in the desk... what? huh?
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually, most people will notice how tall I am, how large my hands are (think Adrien Brody) and that I have fairly largish feet (size 17).

I've been told that I have a kind smile and eyes, but I suppose that's particularly subjective. My voice also tends to stand out, as it can be quite deep and resonating (hence the moving towards voice-over work).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Foodwise, I'm currently doing Ovo-picky, Lacto-free Pescatarianism (google is your friend) but was vegan for a number of years. However, I'm not preachy about what I do and don't eat. Other than the aforementioned restrictions, I eat pretty much everything else in existence and love food (except olives...yuck).

I enjoy a myriad of musical genres - I don't think there's really any music I don't listen to here and there, except for most country and death metal. A few of my more recent and past listens:

Anna Ternheim, Balligomingo, Beats Antique, Beirut, Bjork, Boards of Canada, Bright Eyes, Chemical Brothers, Clan of Xymox, Coiler, Conjure One, Cut Chemist, Devotchka, Dvorak, Daft Punk, Death Cab & Postal Service, Delerium, Depeche Mode, DJ Shadow, Fatboy Slim, Gotan Project, Gorillaz, Gwen & No Doubt, Hooverphonic, Johnny Cash, Ladytron, Massive Attack, Menomena, NIN, Orbital, Owl City, Prodigy, Radiohead, REM, Ronald Jenkees, Royksopp, Skinny Puppy, Tear Garden, Tears for Fears, The Beastie Boys, The Decemberists, The Smiths, The Shins, Tom Jones, Tori Amos, Turin Brakes, VNV Nation, Yann Tiersen, and lots of movie soundtracks.

Some of my favorite movies: In Bruges, Primer, Amelie, Cashback, Dodgeball, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Equilibrium, Fearless, Fight Club, Serenity, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Groundhog Day, Hard Candy, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead (Ok, ANY zombie movie), Jersey Girl (shut it, K.Smith fans), Shortbus, The Fountain, The Hudsucker Proxy, Most Wes Anderson films, V for Vendetta, Monty Python films, and many, many more.

Some of my favorite TV shows (past and present): The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, The Whitest Kids U Know, The IT Crowd, Carnivale, Robot Chicken, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Rome, Eddie Izzard, mXc, John Adams mini-series, [[Californication, Flight of the Conchords, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Frisky Dingo, Venture Brothers, Game of Thrones

Channel 4's River Cottage and other related smallholding/downshifting shows also tend to be on a bit, as I enjoy seeing how best to plan my future. I also love documentaries on various subjects, including history, nature, science, politics and world affairs. I swear, these are akin to crack...
The six things I could never do without
Kindness, my civil liberties, petting cats whenever possible, bananas, quinoa and my patience in all things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The sad state of our country and earth and what we can do to help besides voting or shopping wisely and locally.

what it would be like to live in New Zealand or Australia.

what it would be like to live in or create my own EcoVillage. (shhh.. my secret plan - post Tiny House living)
On a typical Friday night I am
cleaning house, relaxing, catching up what little TV I pay attention to, researching more Eco-living/cooking/tech, going to dinner with friends or passion_dancer, catching some improv or a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love otters (of the Animal Kingdom variety) and the smell of cooking bacon, despite never having the desire to eat it. The bacon... not the otters.

Also, for whatever reason, I enjoy washing dishes by hand and folding fresh laundry.
You should message me if
If you have a penchant for Sci-fi/Fantasy.. If you enjoy keeping yourself in shape and active.. If you aren't a prude.. If you can deal with off-color humor and off-the-wall topic shifts with someone who ping-pongs as much as I do in conversation and discussion.. If you find religious and political controversy amazingly interesting to dive into and pick apart...
