What I’m doing with my life
I work in marketing for a software company, which certainly comes
with its share of ups and downs.
I was an English major in college, and my dad always told me I would end up working at McDonald's because of it. I'm now writing and editing for a living, so it's pretty nice to be able to prove him wrong. :)

It depends on which way I'm facing, but I suppose folks first
notice my eyes. They're blue, with a little ring of amber around
the center (which is why some people mistake them for green or
hazel right off the bat).
Beyond that, probably my sense of humor. I make people laugh - but usually in a good way.

Music: Billy Joel, The Bird and the Bee, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Aimee Mann, Imogen Heap, Frou Frou, Zero 7, Marc Cohn, Keane, and a bunch more - we can compare notes later.
Food: Definitely not a vegetarian or vegan, so I'll just say one word: sushi. And more sushi. Did I mention sushi? I am allergic to wasabi though, which makes sushi tricky - but I manage. I am also allergic to beans. I do like most food, including Thai, Chinese, Mexican, pho, and the occasional grilled cheese sandwich.
Television: Doctor Who, Flight of the Conchords, Torchwood, V, Gilmore Girls, Sex and the City, House, Grey's Anatomy, and some others.

The six things I could never do without
I suppose I should start with sushi after that last question. I'm
definitely addicted.

People. Seriously interesting dynamics to be had depending on the
people in the mix and their individual motivations. This is
especially true at my work. We can talk more about this later,

At the moment, I'm also thinking a lot about travel (there are a lot of places I haven't been yet but would like to visit: New York, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, and Italy).

On a typical Friday night I am
...usually out with friends or having a quiet night in, depending
on how the week has gone. Work tends to take up lots of time, but
I'm a pretty social person and enjoy spending time with friends,
meeting new people, going on road trips, taking walks, and
listening to music.
My latest guilty pleasure is Rock Band (singing and bass/guitar). Of course, I also get out for the occasional karaoke night.
