I've lived in Houston for about five years, but it seems like I'm always discovering new things about the area. Its probably my favorite thing about being here. My work keeps me pretty busy, but I try to enjoy my free time a much as possible. I also endevor ro stay active and not take myself too seriously.

I grew up in Virginia, and went to college in Arizona and Texas. I love traveling and have visited nearly every state in the union. In the last few years, I've had the pleasure of visiting China and Great Britain and would love to do more international sight-seeing.

I’d love to meet a woman who is unafraid to speak the truth, has defined goals the motivation to see them through, and is looking for an equal partner. I’m sorry, but I’m not looking to pursue relationships with single mothers at this point in my life.

I'm an engineer working in the medical technology development. I enjoy my career, although it can take up a lot of my free time during the more busy periods.

I can reach things on the top shelf with great ease. I've been told I'm a good problem solver in general. I'm pretty good at keeping up with current events and nerdier pursuits in general.

I'm very tall and broad shouldered.

Books - I'm a fan of science fiction, fantasy, and the occasional nonfiction historical book. I enjoy the Dresden Files, Song of Ice and Fire, Prince of Nothing, and Sarah Vowell's odd historical books. I'm currently catching up on the Malazan Books of the Fallen.

Movies - I like science fiction and old fashioned detective movies. Some of my favorites are Blade Runner, Dark City, and Brick.

TV - Doctor Who, Firefly, Arrested Development, Community, Top Gear, Fringe

Music - Johnny Cash, Skrillex, Radiohead, Protomen, Queen, Daikaiju, Frank Sinatra

Food - Mexican, Mediterranean, Barbecue, Sushi, Pizza

Most nights I'm out with friends or spending a quiet evening reading and playing video games. I'm interested in doing more active stuff on the weekends.
