My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
please refrain from sending me ANY messages containing compliments or insults! i am not fishing for your compliments and won't bear your insults! thanks for your co-operation and indulgent understanding :) it's just not a very sophisticated way to get off. (plus i'll be able to determine if you've even read the first pgph of my profile. sneaky, sneaky.)

as good fortune would have it, i am a stupendously fantastic person with an exceptional sense of etiquette, a notably charitable heart, and an intellectual curiosity that rivals the most inquisitive of scholars'! i know i wld be a dedicated, dependable, and loyal friend with years of good company and conversation to offer!

as a fair warning, it may take a little more patience on your part to develop a friendship to the point that my good qualities become obvious! i haven't had many friends in the past, so sometimes i can be a little less responsive to -- or even just less acquainted with in the first place! -- social cues that seem like they ought to be second nature to someone of my age!

if you are looking for an intellectually curious cuddle bunny and enjoy sharing insights with other "students of nature", i don't think you'd be disappointed!

as a warning to those who wld venture further: i really do have lots of other qualities to offer than science-nerd overload, it's just that the other things are harder to get across...even for a notorious over-sharer. >.>
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
trekking down the long, arduous (did I mention long? o.o) road to a doctoral degree in the hard sciences!

contemplating the aetiology of such not-fully-explained physical phenomena as the fractional quantum Hall effect, topological order, and other unanswered questions about the elementary constituents of matter -- what IS stuff, really? xD

meditating over background-independent approaches to quantum gravity (n.b.: this language doesn't necessarily imply the apparently vain spin-network approach; i think causal sets and other approaches proceeding from information theory have a lot to offer on the intuitive level).

daydreaming about ways to wed the nonlinear continuum of general relativity with the algebraic suerpositional discreteness of quantum field theory...suspecting it might be finally achieved in the opposite direction of the expectations of the "hep cats" (swidt?).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i don't know...i'm kind of short, so i often get (literally) overlooked. ha-ha.
