My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't watch television but I like a few series: Carnivale, True Blood, Flight of the Conchords, Frisky Dingo.

I don't watch many movies-- most bore me-- but some that I like are The Salton Sea, Best in Show, and Wayne's World.

I will eat anything, but tasty weird fish and meat is best.

I read but I still haven't found many favorites. I like Lonesome Dove, Pop 1280, Dark Tower 1-3, Infidel, The Real Book, Arpeggios for Guitar, and loads of other music books.

And music. I would spend too long on this answer. Quickly, though, some favorites are Gogol Bordello, Balkan Beat Box, Atmosphere, Man Man, Fishbone, Erykah Badu, Black Sabbath, Prince, Michael Jackson, Control Machete, Chaka Kahn-- anything that is high energy or very well constructed musically. I like to go out and see local groups here in town, but I must tell you now that I DO NOT like the Decemberists or things of that nature.

The six things I could never do without

Food, water, shelter, books (or the internet would do I suppose), sex, and music.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

sex, food, communication, song structure, beats, chords, melodies, harmonies, vocal inflection, etc...

On a typical Friday night I am

going to see live music, hanging with friends, eating delicious food, laughing my ass off... ideally all of these.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I look so good naked and I smell amazing.
