Hi there!

I'm looking, a little, for occasional companionship with someone like me: conscious, intelligent, in good shape, physically attractive and content.

I like meditation and watching YouTube clips of animals playing.

I also like to make faces and eat Little Debbie Swiss Rolls (w/milk).

I'm a clinical psychologist (also a member of Mensa and Phi Beta Kappa) but don't act like one.

I don't drink or smoke but like to watch sexy women doing so.

I consider myself to be a sweet curmudgeon and an inveterate iconoclast.

I like magic, especially making quarters come out of my 16 y. o. daughter's and your cute little ears.

I (I don't like starting every sentence with "I" but "I" can live with it for right now) have a great interest in spirituality. I led the Georgia Eckhart Tolle group ( 2001 - 2007), have fasted (eating nothing and drinking only water) for almost a month and practice self-attentiveness all day.

First date: A library, creek, cemetery, video chat, shopping, crashing a wedding or funeral. You know, just "normal living things" One of those "getting to know you" books. My amazing you with magic and my profundity. Your delighting me with your naturalness.

More about you: I would like to meet a woman, up to 62, who is frisky (I really like that word for some reason), sapient, kind, conscious, open-minded and daring. And not short since I don't like kissing air, as well as in reasonable shape (although I do realize that large ladies need love too).

I (I don't like starting every sentence with "I" but "I" can live with it for now) have a great interest in spirituality. I led the Georgia Eckhart Tolle group between 2001 - 2007, have fasted (eating nothing and drinking only water) for almost a month and practice self-attentiveness much of the day.

I do not mind traveling that much (although I prefer inner travel and exploration) since my last girlfriend (five year relationship) lived on the west coast of Canada and getting together involved traveling 6,000 miles, so if you live a piece away don't worry about it (as long as in the continental US).

You again: feminine but not helpless

Wise but also wild.

Seeking companionship, spiritual growth, and other goodies.

Beautiful in a way I appreciate.

Casually impeccable.

Libertine in a moderate and casually controlled fashion.

Plain old easy-going, yet, incredibly, also quite hot.

Desiring of a long-term, profound relationship, but still being able to enjoy every human interaction for whatever its duration and for what it does provide even if it may not represent hitting the romantic jackpot.

The main thing is to be with someone with whom I could share a nice, peaceful time and to whom I would have a reasonable natural attraction. If you are want to spend time in spiritual practice, that would be wonderful. Also, if you are a little wild and wicked that could be fun too but I can also do conventional just fine as well. If you respond, please indicate why you think we might be a good match, what I say that you find titillating, etc.

Me: handsome (see photos).

Spiritually-obsessed, in a healthy way.

Good speller.

Good build (6'1", 210).

Athletic (run most days).

Sensual (you knew that was coming...).

12-Stepper (no alcohol or drugs in 25 years).

Over-educated (Ph.D., psychology, '76, post-docs).

And (at the inner level) very humble.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm way into consciousness and especially seeing through myself (perhaps you'd like to assist me in the latter activity...). I wish to investigate how high is high and the very few questions that matter. I love to test, experiment, search, discover, extend and acquire practical esoteric knowledge that is only gained through direct experience (e.g., as my most recent 24 day water-only fast). On the other hand, I ultimately wish to go beyond both knowledge and experience but that's another story.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Psychotherapy (more as a doctor than a patient...)
Being a father
Experiencing peace.

Things like the following:

"Do not be afraid of freedom from desire and fear. It enables you to live a life so different from all you know, so much more intense and interesting. You reach a state of non-grasping, of non-attachment, of inner ease and freedom, indescribable, yet wonderfully real. As you keep on giving up you find that you spontaneously grow in intelligence and power, and in inexhaustible love and joy." Nisargadatta

Well, actually, I try to "should" on people. But if you do respond, please be bold and throw out some reason you think we might have somewhere to go since, after all, I've given the right person a good bit to work with.
